When I called to confirm the reservation, the reservation official told me the booking number was invalid. I asked them to confirm this booking and return a call to me. But, they didn't do so. I tried to call them several times to confirm the booking. The contact number in website was invalid. |

Essentially the location works best for us. Its not a dislike but more feedback - The squeeze at the buffet breakfast & the initial reluctance of the staff to "open" closed section to accomodate group size of 6(young & old) to seat together. Nevertheless, they finally accomodated our request & made up by being very attentive to our needs. Kudos to the staff |

The food presentation and service was terrific-The staff were most helpful in recommending the different choices of cultural flavours and the ingredients of each dish Some confusion at chech in whether the breakfast was included in the room rates however my documents from Booking.com quickly resolved any problems |

The room was better than expected and staff was very friendly, But the water boiler was very dirty as in that there are stains in the kettle. Overall stay was good and kudos to the F&B staff (Long Feng Chinese Restaurant-hopefully that's the correct spelling) for the excellent service. We were there for a birthday celebration. |

Very comfortable with efficient, courteous and helpful staff; enjoyed excellent meals in the hotel's Chinese and Italian restaurants; excellent comprehensive breakfast. We would happily stay again. The hotel was very understanding about the possible need to cancel or amend our booking due to the European flights embargo resulting from the Icelandic volcano ash cloud; in the end, not an issue. The water in the bath, shower and hand basin was not hot enough. |

Spacious room I was not about to check in when I arrived at 4:30pm as the rooms were not ready. I feel that the hotel should honour its words that guests could check in after 3pm. As I was tired that day, I decided to make 'some noise' at the reception to expedite the readiness of the room. Your front staff and manager were patient with me and I was eventually given a room at 5pm. This is my first stay with the hotel and I feel that the hotel could improve on this. |

Generally a good hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, fairly close by to the main attractions of Melaka. Good breakfast with wide choice of food of various styles. The hotel is old and it really needs a renovation. It probably started as a 5 star but this status has to be revoked if they don't renew the building and equipment in the room. The choice in the bar menu is limited and even when I asked for Perrier (which was on the menu), they said it was not available. RM 500 net per night is too much for what we got. |

Friendly staff and accomodating waiters at the coffeeshop, easy access to the cities main attractions. Cleaniness of the bathroom was something to be considered. Showercurtains are things of the past as they cannot be as clean as a normal shower. |

Good choice at buffet breakfast,but queue on Sunday,quiet other days.Outdoor pool on 9th floor was very nice. Room decoration a bit dated. Also don't like climbing into bath for a shower.No hot water one evening due to fault with heater/boiler. |
