Das Meer ist hier nur bedingt zum Baden geeignet. Es ist nicht möglich am Strand entlang zu spazieren, da alles abgesperrt war.

Excellent sunset view. Enjoyed the romanrtic walk along the water front.Beautiful resort for couple & family.

No free shuttle bus to city & quite expensive

Wonderful ambiance for family relaxation. Staff very courteous and helpful. Made arrangement with cab for transfer back today for places with less public transport.

Breakfast spread is very good. But the staff at the cafe are quite "impolite" compared to other areas of hotel. I had my hands full and could not open the door, saw a staff coming in. She opened the door for herself & walk right through without holding the door for me. Tables are not cleared promptly for next guest and you have to get the staff to clear the table. Other grouses, the leisure centre does not have enough bicycles for kids above 5. If not mistaken, there's only 1 unit. Should have more.

I liked that you had a lot to choose from for activities. You can just relax or do other things that are there. We went to the islands, also to town and shopped and relaxed by the pool. I enjoyed your health club as I am an aerobics instructor.

We were on a bit of a budget. I felt your Salad Bar at dinner time was good value for $40 ++. If you could have a Noodle Bar as well, that would have been good also.

Enjoyed the pool and beach facilities and the general atmosphere of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

no free hotel to city shuttle, when it was 0nly about 10-15mins drive not like I-Borneo mall w/ hotels there is a free shuttle to city

Quiet yet close to airport. I was able to pay a reasonable rate for upgrading to a club level seaview room.

Had a great weekend break at the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru. Room was spacious and clean with fesh fruit provided, and we had a great view of the island opposite. Staff were friendly and pleasant and the hotel restaurants were more than adequate for our stay when we didn't venture into town. We had a very relaxing massage at sunset at the spa, which is pricey by Malaysian standards, but similarly priced to spas in the UK. The hotel service and standard is very good and it is only five minutes from the airport and ten minutes into town by taxi making it a great location. Considering the size of the resort it didn't feel crowded, and we would definitely consider staying there again should we go back to Kota Kinabalu.

I had the time to do the things that I like: sleep, eat, sports activities(tennis, jogging, gymn & sauna) and read at the swimming pool, near the beach.

Jacuzzi is bad (insufficient temperature); the small beach inside the hotel is beautiful but not good enough (not clear water); the SPA is extremely expensive - forget it. Why not a shuttle bus to the city? Taxi drivers always "forget" the meter and sometimes, as around the world, they were rude. 38 Ringits from the airport to the hotel (only 5 minutes) ... someone is steeling me!

Everything is compacted in one whole area meaning you only have to walk a short distance and you'll access whatever amenities you chooses.The whole place is so pretty & clean,the water on the beach is not so clear though.Food are excellent,the restaurant staff are superb.We had a great stay altogether.I'd go back there again.

Yes, they(concierge&receptionist) did not tell us about the availability of public transport to town because I feel they want us to utilize they're own expensive transport.Not providing much info. regarding activities available around.They are friendly but not as friendly as the people in Tanjung Aru & Jesselton.I still recommend it due to beautiful surroundings but not the service from frontdesk.

We have never come across such friendly and helpful staff!!!! The staff took the experience to a much higher level!!! Thank you very much! Also a big thank you for my surprise birthday cake in my room!!! Much appreciated.
