Being able to drive there and then forget about the car. Long walks on the beach. Relaxing on the balcony over looking the Straits. Whist the food was generally very good and the staff pleasant and eager to please, it was very busy so the breakfast buffet was not replenished, the staff were not all well trained and on one evening the only way to get a meal without waiting an hour was room service.

The pool, room and staff service were quite decent I went before under my husbands name last year so definitely worth stopping by giving the resort a try. I hope other afro-americans come so the Malaysian's can get use to us the staff was very respectful I must say would definitely visit again when in Malaysia I don't care for the location with the winding roads on the way there that's really the only thing besides the high prices for food at the location on the resort its way overpriced so forced into going in town

The spa was excellent, Thai Taste and Peach Blossom rest. served delicious and appetizing food. The housekeeping was superb as well. Lots of flies around; but being a coastal area..it was tolerable. Perhaps some fly zappers located around the premise?

The set up, location and friendly staffs. The housekeeping needs to be improved and the charges of dinner buffer is too expensive. But the price for ala cart in terrace garden is fair. the towel provided at pool need to be change, some with holes and so obvious its so old. the wall between rooms is so thin, can hear conversation from next room so clearly even the guests in next room just talking in normal voice tone.

In a nutshell, everything is above average to good (good mostly, the pool is excellent but what has happended ot the waterfall?) except for the damn flies. I know there are some poultry farms nearby that are he source of the flies. If you can't really do anything about them, how about providing some safe body sprays (if any is available) or ask for an entomologist's advice? I told you ...it's the damn flies! If not for the flies, I would give the hotel a b+ (maybe a) but with the flies, a c+ only. I found the beach area, b-b-q Gayam, the beautiful pool an a+ (what feel cheated on the dried up waterfall). This is my second visit. On the first visit, I could see that all the guests and swimmers enjoyed the lovely waterfall. I actually read visitors comments on the website before I made my second visit. Most negative comments concerned the flies.

We work in Malaysia and spent the labour day holiday weekend at this hotel. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a honeymoon suite. Despite the fact that the hotel was full, it still felt spacious and all of the staff were charming and had time for us. The hotel has beautiful views across to Pangkor Island from the magnificent open-air foyer. The gardens are very mature and attractive. We particularly enjoyed the snorkelling boat trip. The snorkelling itself was awful but the trip in a small boat that skimmed across the sea and around the islands was fun and, without really trying, we saw a number hornbills and many sea eagles. We also very much enjoyed the sunset barbecue at the Gayam beach bar.

I like the sea view of the Deluxe Sea view room, and the swimming pool. Shockingly poor customer service for a 4-star hotel and it is painful for me to say as a Malaysian. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurants clearly lack training in hospitality and tourism. Whilst the choice of buffet breakfast is satisfatory, the hygience and the quality of the food need urgent attention. Waited for half an hour at the spa and no one turned up to assist, absolutely shocking. Went to the swimming pool at 7.15pm and was told that they had run out of towels, despite the pool closes at 8pm.

Our room is located next to the pub which play unbearable loud music upto middle of night. We were forced to asked for a change of room when we were so tired. Yet we were asked to pack our luggage to move to a new allocated room when were so tired. Bearing in mind we need to get up in the early of next morning to travel back to KL. At last, we managed to convience the Supervisor to allow us to leave the luggage as in the 1st room as it is. Furthermore, we were so shocked to find cockcroach in our room and shit in front of room door. There were many flies in the air conditioned restaurant. And the food is jz very so so. We told the PIC that the roasted lamb is over cook, he admitted but nothing was done to correct the dish. Tough the charges is RM68++ per person.

Ok for a short break. Hotel is a bit tired and could do with upgrade. It is a 35 minute drive from Lumut so ok if you have a car as restaurant choices are limited to the hotel. Good location for golfers!!

The scenery and the ambience was simply lovely and the rooms were cosy 1) The room was not ready by 3pm 2) the room was not cleaned well and we could smell the stench from the toilet 3) the breakfast spread was not appetising 4) Overall the service from the front desk was not up to mark.

It's a great place for family get away from the town. Really secluded area just nice for everyone with pools, courts for sports and a whole 18hole golf course too. The upkeep of the room is such a let down, paying a night for rm250 for a room that is musky and old. It smells very badly with the old carpet. The road leading to the resorts need to be fully lighted at night not only at specific spots.

A lot needs to be improved.customer service on a scale of 1 to 10 is 2.your seafacing description is a misinterpretation of the room. The hotel is quick when customers had to pay extra but when I was over charged nothing was done to rectify it.the hotel staff had no knowledge of the compulsory dinner on 24th dec under booking.com, wasnt helpful in giving it either.quality of food is also bland and tasteless. The legend cherating (a+) is way better this hotel is a C-.definately needs to do sth about the flies
