Het Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa Damai Laut, dat een toegangspoort tot het prachtige eiland Pangkor is, beschikt over een eigen bekroonde 18 holesgolfbaan. U kunt heerlijk ontspannen bij het buitenzwembad van het resort. De kamers van het Swiss-Garden Golf Resort & Spa zijn voorzien van algehele airconditioning en een eigen balkon. Tevens beschikt u op uw kamer over een satelliet-tv, een minibar en koffie- en theefaciliteiten. Mijn uiteindelijke doel was Pulau Pangor, de paar keer dat ik daar was zag ik vanaf de veerpont altijd het Swiss Garden en was en nieuwsgierig naar. Deze keer moest ik vanwege de late aankomst op he4t vaste land slapen, heb daarvoor Swiss Garden gekozen en er 5 nachten van gemaakt. Met name het personeel waar ik mee te maken had, receptie, bel-boy, restaurants en terrassen rond het zwembad voelde aan als vrienden en familie en niet gespeeld. Indien nodig zal ik er zeker terugkeren. Alleen de vliegen bij het strand overdag.

Made 2 visits within span of 2 weeks . First vist encountered clogged wc everyday n had to be unclogged daily by maintenance . 2nd visit encountered 2 consecutive days of power breakdown . Bought Internet card, 4 days used , only can access for 2 days!! Staff not friendly or either not up to hospitality standard. Except the supervisor named Rizkin n concierge staff Fizzi.

The hotel seems to be most decent and comfortable in this Lumut area. The 3 kilometre road leading to the hotel is not lighted making night trip less safe even though nothing untoward incident happened. To Make visitors feel safer ( at night), it is strongly recommended that additional guard house be erected at the entrance of the 3 kilometre road leading to the hotel.

Breath taking view. Lots of activities that r complimentary where u don't even need 2 leave hotel.very reasonable prices for buffets.extremly helpful staff.spa and recreational centre r the main things I loved there No clinic or doctor on duty! And nearset clinic is 30min away so in case of emergency that's very dangerous

1) Too many flies 2) restaurants not up to standard 3) pool rules not adhered to as guests who were fully clothed were allowed to swim despite the rules displayed for the public. No proper control.

Less crowded even during holidays! The pool was lovely but occuppied by guest that wear full non swing clothing in the pool ! The gets clouding and dirty with such patrons and the management should stop this.

I have been there before,but the recent trip really make me sick,the first day when I checked in at the reception there are so many fles flying around.I really cant not descriped when I saw a woman who was wearing an bareback and found fles were stick on her skin!!!! The workers said is caused by the nearby chicken farm , can you think of something when said is from chicken farm.............. and you are providing a candle while you were having breakfast !!! Please do something about it and I wish to be there in the next trip to come.

The set up, location and friendly staffs. The housekeeping needs to be improved and the charges of dinner buffer is too expensive. But the price for ala cart in terrace garden is fair. the towel provided at pool need to be change, some with holes and so obvious its so old. the wall between rooms is so thin, can hear conversation from next room so clearly even the guests in next room just talking in normal voice tone.

Our room is located next to the pub which play unbearable loud music upto middle of night. We were forced to asked for a change of room when we were so tired. Yet we were asked to pack our luggage to move to a new allocated room when were so tired. Bearing in mind we need to get up in the early of next morning to travel back to KL. At last, we managed to convience the Supervisor to allow us to leave the luggage as in the 1st room as it is. Furthermore, we were so shocked to find cockcroach in our room and shit in front of room door. There were many flies in the air conditioned restaurant. And the food is jz very so so. We told the PIC that the roasted lamb is over cook, he admitted but nothing was done to correct the dish. Tough the charges is RM68++ per person.

I like the sea view of the Deluxe Sea view room, and the swimming pool. Shockingly poor customer service for a 4-star hotel and it is painful for me to say as a Malaysian. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurants clearly lack training in hospitality and tourism. Whilst the choice of buffet breakfast is satisfatory, the hygience and the quality of the food need urgent attention. Waited for half an hour at the spa and no one turned up to assist, absolutely shocking. Went to the swimming pool at 7.15pm and was told that they had run out of towels, despite the pool closes at 8pm.

The scenery and the ambience was simply lovely and the rooms were cosy 1) The room was not ready by 3pm 2) the room was not cleaned well and we could smell the stench from the toilet 3) the breakfast spread was not appetising 4) Overall the service from the front desk was not up to mark.

It's a great place for family get away from the town. Really secluded area just nice for everyone with pools, courts for sports and a whole 18hole golf course too. The upkeep of the room is such a let down, paying a night for rm250 for a room that is musky and old. It smells very badly with the old carpet. The road leading to the resorts need to be fully lighted at night not only at specific spots.

The 'Gayam' barbecue buffet dinner was marvelous and value for money. I loved the on deck setting which promotes a cozy and romantic ambience. The buffet breakfast menu is limited and not tasty. Even the dining area needs more space to cater for peak season. Should focus to refurbish the old dining tables and chairs.

Friendly Staff. 1) Room's balcony was half blocked by wall?? So sea view from room partially blocked? 2) The Loung did not have a Band on Monday night as advertised, BUT the only other entertainment - the Karaoke Lounge was also closed??? Very Quiet night? 3) Hotel is very understaffed, as cna be seen from the check-in and check-out time, closure of Karaoke Lounge, during Buffet Breakfast, simply cannot cope with the minimasl staff - even peak school holiday season????

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful scenery, offer many facilities and activities within the resort, far from hustle bustle of metropolitan life. The facilities not well maintain - only two canoe available, the banana boat ride not available as the boat was broken down, only one set of acrchery is available, the cafe by the beach is like a haunted place and smelly as well, too many dogs at the beach front, wc don't have hose for wash up. If the hotel can offer more usable facilities I may have recommend it for team building activities.
