Location is definitely a plus. It's one of the few budget hotels around popular Jonker Walk. It's rather crampy, especially when the toilet door was being pushed out. Thus, gotta clear the way at the wash basin. Not much point switching on the TV as there are only a few local TV channels without any TV remote. |

The location is ideal for a city tour as it is right in the heart of historic Malacca. The internet wireless service is not available from the room although it is quite good at the lobby and the corridor. |

The rooms were clean & comfortable and the location was excellent-walking distance to everything. Room was hard to find as we were not given any indication of where it was from reception-nor about where to find breakfast. |

Good location, within walking distance to tourists sites and Jonker Street. Room is clean & comfortable. Most hotel staffs are friendly. Hotel design is quite nice & interesting Should book room with window and require quiet area because sometimes people staying around your room are very noisy. Breakfast is poor |

We booked two rooms. I felt a little bit moldy smell at the room without window of ground floor. We asked to change our room to first floor, it was so so. The another room with window was good. I like the hotel, because we could feel the tradition of Baba nyonya. The fee was suitable. |

There is internet assessable only at the new wing. The old building is still very old and very rundown. Toilet is very small, the washing basin should be built inside the toilet but it is beside the entrance. As such the floor near the entrance always wet. My overall comments to the hotel is "good ". |

Design was unique because it shows the peranakan culture The hotel rooms were old. There were no windows. Staff were inefficient. We had to wait for 30 minutes at check in because they were changing shifts. Breakfast was just as bad. There were no choice ... only 1 selection. |

It is close to Jonkers Street and I enjoyed going to the "pasar malam" or night market on Sunday night. We got to try the cheap and delicious hawker food like fried carrot cake, hard malt candy, chendol etc I was quite pleased with the room except for the pillow and mattress which smelled stale and caused me to wake up many times in the night as the smell was very unpleasant. The hotel should ensure the pillows, pillow cases, mattress and bedsheet smell fresh & clean. This is basic expectation of hotel guests. This is a feedback to the hotel. |

Over all I think this is like a budget hotel and a boutique hotel for those who like to stay in the Praanakan Style of place.. When we step into the room there is a kind of smell that make us feel uncomfortable maybe nobody stay in the room quite sometimes.. |

I like the clean bathroom in my room, it is very comfortable to be used and feels at home. Excellent to the staff in maintaining cleaniless of the room especially the bathroom. Everything is good except for the noise outside that can be heard clearly that had disturbed and spoilt the mood. The door really seemed not sound-proof at all to me. I had never experienced this in other hotels like in KL, Penang,Genting or Cameron which is a favourite place for tourist as well. Please do something as it really spoilt the holiday fun. Thank you. |
