The Bala's Holiday Chalet  

The design of the chalet is nice and beautiful with old english style theme. The location is good and nearby to the tanah rata town area.

The road leading up to the chalet is poor and not well maintained. The no. of parking space is limited. The odor of the room is unpleasant, with wooden and mouldy smell. The worst part is the shower heater is not well functioning, the water temperature is not consistent and we always experienced a sudden hot or sudden cold temperature during shower! There's also a minor water leak from the bathroom wall. Hope they can further improve the facilities.

The country type of cottage. Really nice and comfortable.

Dog infront of my room. The entrance road are too stif, gradience. Limited parking space.

The style is nice.

Room was not clean, found bugs while sleeping, room was dark, not enough light, stuff was not smile and very cold.

Best place for honeymoon...quite,peaceful,romantic...

not much parking lot, the room to high.. Need to climb up. If old people how are they go up?...

It is close to nature and I like the English style exterior design.. It looked unique.. Location is good.

Musky bedsheet.. Room can be set up more lights because it's a bit dark.. The price is quite expensive, and it's not including breakfast..

Nothing spectacular about the Chalet except they are of English design and quite cozy.

The facility - no in house phone.

Our family like the garden and fresh air.

Not safe to open windows at night for sleep because there is no grill. So have to close windows. Therefore the room is a bit suffocated without fresh air. Recommendation : provide small aperture which can be open or close above windows. The size of the aperture should be small to prevent people from sneaking into the room.

Almost everything to be honest. Bad facilities, entrance ( road) not repair, smell and humid worst. No picture taken! What the holliday.

Le décors extérieur est très inspirant. Des centaines de plantes qui envahissent les toits, les murs et les trottoirs, on se penserait dans un magnifique jardin anglais. Pleins de petits endroits pour déguster le thé, on s'y prélasserait toute la journée.

Personnel peu accueillant et disponible. Les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur des autres endroits de l'hôtel comme le lobby ou les petits salons de thé. Il y fait froid et très humides. La salle de bain était très ordinaire. Décevant!

De sfeer is bijzonder. Bala's is een voormalig meisjesinternaat in Engelse landhuisstijl uit de koloniale tijd. De sfeer is zeer goed bewaard gebleven.

Het dorp Tanah Rata is niet bijzonder.

Nothing is good about Bala's Holiday Chalet. It was over marketed in internet website.

The maintenance is bad . Need very much of improvement. Not recommended for future visit. It was a one man show in the hotel. Rate/ day is very expensive and no worth for money paid. there are so many other new hotels are avail now.

The breathtaking garden, it is really beautiful.

Poor Bathroom, no were to hang clothes or towel.

Privacy & peaceful environment with antiques furniture and decorations, this is an ideal place for holidays and sharing a wonderful time with love one. The location is just in the middle of Tanah Rata & Brinchang, the 2 major town at Camaron Highland, makes it convenient to visit and have meal there. It would be better if the management gives repeating visitor rebate or discount to encourage their return.

The cheapest room at Bala's Holiday Chalet is RM280 per night, it would be much appreciated if the management give discount for repeated visitor, maybe around RM200 would be an ideal pricing

Quiet, Nice Garden, Beautiful Scenery

Parking not enough & may be dangerous due to the slope.

poor maintaines, smelly and dusty family suit, faded bedsheet, Luckly we manage to change to two small rooms which no water heater in the morning.
