Location of the hotel is fantastic. The operator actually bought over individual units from the owners and rented them out. That is why there is no reception, and the owner will have to meet you directly at the hotel. Works fine for us, except that we have to make overseas call to contact the "hotel" staff.

The yucky lift and lousy facilities of Mahkota Hotel that you have to use, as the majority of the units are still run by Mahkota management.

Almost everything. Location The hotel location very strategic just next to Mahkota Parade Mall, which is next to Malacca 'Menara Taming Sari' (The Viewing Tower) where you can see most of Malacca city. Near distance to Jonker walk which is nice to visit especially at night. Near to many food places and good restaurants that serve Malacca famous 'Asam Pedas' and 'Ikan Bakar'. From Menara Tamingsari you could just hire 'Beca' (3 wheels bike with tourist guide). You could just relax and he will take you around many tourist attractions places such as A-Famosa, Palace of Malacca Sultanate etc. Staffs Special thanks to Miss Amy which is very helpful during our stay and went beyond my expected service level. Also, Mr. Kay to guide us to direction to the hotel and personally checked us in from the car park lot. Also, Mr. Donald (if I am not mistaken) who checked us out smoothly.

Nothing. I will definitely try your other hotel which is located in Jonker street area if I visit again next time.

Apartment with 2 bedroom, good view!good staff!

Not clean pool, the hotel main road and there is a pedestrian crossing in the center, each time you will find extreme.

The condo has good facilities. Good for families. Everything is closeby and the staff is helpful and prompt.

Nothing but please note that this is a 3 star. It has clean and good rooms but do not have extremely high expectations. For higher rated hotels, there are Holiday Inn and Hatten next door.

There is two exit to the main road. Should have one more exit in the middle leading to the road

Nice clean hotel with good kids facilities eg pools with slide and fountains. It is just opposite to the Mahkota Parade. Quite safe environment, very relax. The staff are very helpful too.

No check in counter, check in is via Call only. This is still ok No proper traffic to cross over to the shopping mall although it is just opposite. This is very inconvenient if you have small kids

The rooms are very nice and clean, decorated nicely, nice bed. Located at the heart of town, very close to anywhere I want to be. Convenient and luxurious all in one.

Nice view, friendly staff, comfortable bedroom, bathtub and shower. Living room was also comfortable. If you open the sliding door, you can enjoy the breeze from beach. You enjoy little privacy as well.

Tiny concrete stones were filling up the bath tub when I open the tap. Some old furnitures need replacement.

Home-like apartment, suitable to big family.

It is just opposite of the shopping area, but it is difficult and dangerous to cross the road to reach the shopping area due to there is no traffic light or over head bridge.

The apartment fit the needs of my friends and I. It was a great experience with friends and the place was in excellent condition. Its location is also very near the Carnival where we enjoyed playing Bumper Cars!!!

The newly renovated room is clean and comfortable.

No proper lobby as it was previously Mahkota Hotel and some are taken over by The Jetty. Old building basically and a smelly lift lobby.

The Staff very friendly. The Apartment is nice..got a city view..facilities such as swimming pool and gym is very good..

One of the room aircon is not working properly, it is not cold. I have set either 16 Degrees or 30 Degrees, neither of it is cold luckily the room have fan. The lift corridor (Frangipani Wing 2) smell is stink.

Toilet facilities are old andneed to improve Lightings s in toilets are not bright enough Shower taps are not functioning properly Checkout time at 12pm too early considering check in is at 3pm. Suggest to bring forward check in time earlier otherwise it is not competitive compared to other apartment suites or hotel rooms. The short time in the apartment stay also makes it expensive when taking into account the money spent for a short stay

Free parking facility which is required especially when you drive to Melaka.

Toilets are very run down in the apartment. However they should undergoing renovation according to the management.

Location was great. The space in the apartment was rather generous and kitchen was relatively well equipped. Staff was very helpful and provided good service. We were held up by traffic jam and the staff waited for us for 2 hours at our apartment unit to check in, and in-between, provided us with the directions.

There are a lot of birds resting in the trees nearby, so the chirping was rather excessive in the evening, but with the aircon and tiredness we had, we managed to sleep through it anyway. There seemed to be no lobby/service counter so it was not so convenient to get immediate help in areas like housekeeping service, and you had to inform the staff in advance to do check out as check-in/out was done at the apartment itself. There was no breakfast place in the immediate vicinity, so you had to walk a bit to the Makhota Hotel's restaurant or nearby eating outlets. The (bedroom) furniture were mostly quite old and the apartment was not in top condition (e.g. we couldn't switch off living aircon, electric stove didn't work).

Checking in and out at the apartment was great. The staff was good and friendly. View of the apartment was great and the place was fairly clean compare to the past.

We had asked for another bed but the staff did not get back to us. The aircon in the hall was not working.

The deco and ambience is amazing along with the beautiful pool and amnesties.

We encountered 2 cockroaches in the apartment but we killed it. So, it was all good. :)

It suits our budget and the location is just what we wanted, nearby major shopping malls. The room is clean and has all the amenities. TV cable provided is fantastic. It is a good hotel for family who wants to have a weekend getaway.

Old building with fresh cost of paint. Stay in 2 rooms apartment. 2nd room no aircon and toilet not working. Basic layout and furnished.

Location. Services are excellent. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Facilities offered are excellent for families trip.

Clean n suitable for family

The staff made a conscious effort to ensure we do not get lost by sending an email a day before.. As well as sending an sms on the day itself... Checking in n out was a breeze... The rooms are very clean n comfy... Toilets are also very clean.. Everything is working perfectly... Have no complaints about the maintenance of the apartment.. Definitely feels like home away from home..

Although the location is near the city center, there is no pedestrian link bridge or proper traffic light for pedestrians to cross the road to mahkota parade mall etc... It can be quite dangerous for family with little children... Driving in city center is not an option due to the very heavy traffic esp during weekends... A five minutes drive can be 30 minutes...
