Al Fresco:
Al Fresco has a unique vantage point, sweeping from the swimming pool and landscaped gardens on the left, past all the islands dotting the horizon, to a glimpse of Kota Kinabalu on the right. Even with magnificent views and sunsets, the comprehensive Mediterranean menu cannot be overshadowed. An exciting cocktail menu supports an extensive selection of pasta and seafood dishes and the famous wood-fired pizzas. Open daily from 10:30 to 22:30.
Ethnic-themed and influenced by the essence of Borneo, The Magellan Sutera incorporates its natural surroundings with fine timber furnishing and local artifacts to replicate native architecture. Most of the luxurious rooms and suites reveal balconies and all offer views of either the tranquil gardens or the sparkling South China Sea with the nearby islands.

The location was good. Although Shangri La Tanjung Aru would have been just as good on hind sight. Regretted choosing Sutera Harbour.
Initially given a supposed sea view room which actually had view of child pool and trees. We had to complain and they changed us. We had to trawl with all our luggage and child. On the last day of our stay we had no hot water and the electrcity blew out (didn't bother to fix this) because of a faulty iron which they provided. There was no iron or ironing board in our room when we arrived.
