Hotel is clean and reasonably well furnished. Expensive for the standard however

Difficult to find, difficult to access, both by car or by foot. No direct access from car park to lobby. No bell staff visible at any time of day.

- Room too small - door access key having problem almost all of my stays, i showed my insatisfaction, and the ground staff also shows theirs to my complaint!! who are they! (one indian guy reprogramming the key..but after second day it was good..). Do they realize that to walk to the room is already damn far, then to have to walk back just to reprogram the stupid key is very depressing...2-3 times between the 2 nights stays.. - no breakfast although hotels of about same standard do provide at about same rate..

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Consistent and professional.

Room corridors were lined up with uncollected room service dishes. Noticed it was there from 2.00pm till late night.

Nice hotel on a good location. Has shuttle services to places of interests for travelers without own transport. Fairly helpful staff.

The in-room dining was good. The Johor Laksa wad superb! So was the chicken rice.

Room was small - we paid for the executive double suite and it was small! Pillows were super hard! So was the bed. Room had poor lighting...only had the two bed side lamps. Wifi was super slow!! Better off relying on maxis service! The check-in staff appeared to be in a daze. Upon checking in, I asked to confirm if the room rates were inclusive of breakfast and wifi. She said yes. But when I went for breakfast the next morning, we were told that our room was without breakfast. Luckily I still kept a copy of the booking confirmation made and after arguing with them, they allowed us in for breakfast! Infact in the booking.com confirmation, it said the room came with free access to the club lounge, inclusive of free cocktails, even! But during check-in, we were not told all these. When I realised this, it was already on our last day...

Food is not good and staff are a bit slow. Wireless in the room is very weak

Good service The restaurant staff were great! Pool was nice. You were made very welcome everywhere in the hotel!! Service on the executive floor lounge was the best.

Furniture is cheap and the chairs in the room are stained. We moved from the first room because of the smell and the chair had a burn hole in a non smoking room.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Executive club was worth the extra.

Drinks price in the bar were ridiculous. It was a little off the beaten track, but easy to get in and out of.

The excellent welcome we had and the good meal in the poolside restaurant. The Manager was very hands-on and had initiated a programme of refurbishment. The pool was very nice and the views over the Straits from the front of the hotel were lovely. It appeared to be a popular hotel for business and families. The road system nearby is quite complicated..

Lack of signage to the hotel (we were driving). No wifi but this is being rectified this month as part of the electrical refurbishment.

Your hotel location is very good. Vallet n bell boy is friendly n efficient. Your female staff always smilling n welcoming.

You shouldnt leave your trainee to check in guest without supervision of trained staff. Their lack of knowledge and experiance make the checking in process felt very disappointed. Your male front office staff is not friendly n didnt smile n greet guest properly.

1. pleasantly surprised at executive club floor staff's friendliness, professionalism, personal touch (remembered and address me by name) and service. 2. very satisfied with the service aspect.

1. hotel should have check-in/out facility at executive club floor instead of having to queue at the main reception lobby downstairs 2. faced issue with booking i.e. upon giving me my room card, counter staff briefed on my stay that was for 2 days WITHOUT breakfast. had to flash her the booking email on my smartphone that stated it was WITH breakfast 3. was charged a higher rate for the 2nd day (suspected due to it being a Chinese New Year holiday in Johor). however, your booking site didn't highlight this. would have been good to highlight additional surcharge to give us a heads-up.

The club lounge access. The attendant by the name of Rezi was very helpful and attentive.

The hotel rooms are dated and need to be maintained or renovated. The jacuzzi and its surroundings are in bad shape and needs to be overhauled.

The design of the hotel exterior and interior is elegant. The breakfast spread is good. I prefer breakfast by the poolside view. Location is great!

We stayed at Jnr Suite Highest floor at the corner room. One corner of the room ceiling was leaking and wet the carpet and stained the curtains. The staff explained this only happens during raining season. Why do you then have it available??!! The carpark is rather old and could use repainting.

Toilets need beefing up, food- not much choice, oaisis restaurant is very expensive & smokey!!!!
