Traders Hotel, Penang  

My family enjoy staying at trader hotel and my kid enjoy the facility at golden sand hotel located at batu ferringgi. The hotel services and location are excellent.We confirm to stay there every Penang trip.

Enviroment is nice and very important the services is excellent.

Staff are very obliging in both room service and restaurant. The restaurant food selection was extensive,good quality and reasonably priced. To sum up this Hotel: A well located value for money Hotel in Georgetown Penang

I would like to take this opp to compliment Naisia at e front desk. She has been e only one greeting customers w a big warm smile and going to an extra mile for any requests made. Keep up e good work Naisia! Traders shd employ more staff like her!

I stayed on e 9th floor e corridors is always v noisy sounded like "ppl slamming e door." As my room is facing e road it can b v noisy at times too! Other than those "noises" e hotel is within close proximity to many shopping centers.

16 floor breakfast!!! The waiter was brilliant! The room 1621. Carparking. and location.

Internet information. And allso didnt get connection in the end. I didnt bother to get it for only two days. It is ok, but paint a little in the carpark-lobby connection? But I liked the hotel very, very much!

The Traders is an enticing Hotel from a bygone era, our greeting was courteous and the room was of a high standard in accordance with the aura of the hotel. The staff overall were very friendly and the facilities were of a reasonable standard and I got the impression the staff were the compensator for the lack of zeal of the hotel. Although fully serviced, well maintained and wanting for nothing materially there was a hint of it's deficencies. We enjoyed our stay comfortable and well cared and infact pampered at some stages by our favourite service desk man who made his goal through the day to ensure his customers were his 1st priority- really great guy. The hotels nightime entertainment is of a very high standard is very comfortable. The Traders is a great hotel given it's age and surrounding infrastructure We would stay again- as we have done before- perhaps it comes down to nostalgia, but lets face it it doesn't get much better than this.

I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrade to a suite.

Friendly staff

The location was excellent as the hotel is located in the centre of Penang, accessibility to all tourist sights are within easy reach.

The furniture n carpet was quite old and worn out. The pillows were not firm enough, too low thus can't support my neck which lead to a stiff neck. The shower not powerful enough on the jet setting.

Cleaning of the room, comfortable.

It is located near the good street food area and shopping area. Very convenience!

Not sure why the trader's check in staff was reluctant to check me in as i used my husband to book. He is not excited that my husband didnt check in with me although i tried showing him my booking reference number with my same credit card number written. Very suspicious of my booking validity...

Good Location, friendly staff. Food is ok @ the coffee house. This was a business trip so I can't provide more comments.

The shower head needs upgrading. I like a decent shower to wash my long hair and this was seriously lacking.

Is really value for money , staff is friendly , impress with service by the breakfast lodge waiters .
