Beautiful and historical home turned into a guest house. The host (Herman) is the most welcoming and warm host we have met! The rooms are basic with the needed amenities but has an abundance of charm. The house has many different seating areas and antiques that have been passed down for generations. There is a beautiful outdoor space that allows for reading or enjoying conversation with other guests.

Grootfontein is a handy stopover for travelling from the Caprivi to Windhoek or between the Kalahari Highway and Etosha. It has decent supermarkets and a mall as well as mechanics and auto electrical garages for any in transit emergencies
