“ Friendly, family owned and operated guest farm. Lots of great birds, and wildlife in a beautiful setting. Definitely a nice place to stay. This is not a luxury hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious but basic. It was a quiet and peaceful setting. ”

Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 5 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. Windhoek’s city centre is 45 km away from Etango, which also features a swimming pool. The rooms and rondawels at Etango Ranch have typical African details and include a private bathroom. Some of them have private verandas and air conditioning. Guests with half board included in the rate can enjoy the breakfast and Namibian dishes of the on-site dining area. Guests in the self-catering rondawels have access to the fully equipped communal kitchen facilities. Packed lunches are also available upon request. The bar offers a relaxing space to have some drinks. As the ranch is fenced, guests can find wild animals such as Oryx, Kudu, Mountain Zebra, and Hartebeest. The Bismarck Mountains are a short drive away. Scenic drives in the area can be arranged by staff on request. The welcome from the owner, her local knowledge and enthusiasm for the country and environment. Ease of access to the airport - 5 mins away but NO noise. The setting with beautiful mountain backdrop,

Close to the airport After we had arrived, a man came out to our bungalow and said we needed to pay him 300nr more. We showed him our Internet booking and he backed off. Also, commode did not work, sheets terrible.

Warm friendly staff.. Good location for airport, but could have been a thousand mils away. Internet access would have been useful.

I love the staff and the location of the Etango Ranch Guest Farm. Great people - they made me feel comfortable right away and welcome. They were helpful and flexible, and able to adjust their schedules to take me to my next location when I needed to. Excellent food - I recommend signing up for dinner.

I was received by Robert to showed me the bungalow, He opened up switched on the lights asked me if I want supper and/or breakfast and left. When I entered the bungalow there was no bedside lamp, no chair to sit on, no glass. The beds were so hard that I could have slept on the floor, the pillows where old and hard, could have used a brick. They do not know how to make beds up as the spar blanket was thrown over the bed as a bedspread which degraded the bungalow even more. Towels that felt like sandpaper. No complementaty soap, etc. I had book in for two night and when I complained the second night Robert just wanted to get rid of me by sending me to another resourt at my own expense. He was not interested it fixing the problem. Unfriendly and not helpful. Not worth it for the price they charge

It is 5 minutes drive to the airport. Free firewood and communal lapa/braai area with basic kitchen facilites. The shower was blocked, no soap or shampoo, broken tiles, hair in the bed, incessant barking dogs, communal kitchen stove tripped the power, no sharp knives or pots, rotten fridge. Not negotiable for single persons. Inflexible. Overpriced for what is on offer.

Super Unterkunft in Flughafennähe von Windhoek. Unbedingt zu empfehlen als Zwischenstopp am Anfang oder Ende einer Reise in Namibia.

Prachtige accommodatie, super bestemming om uw reis mee te beginnen of te eindigen. Slechts 5 min. van het vliegveld en de ranch beschikt over een haal en breng service!

Lokatie/dit ligt 1.5 km vd airport. wij hadden een conflict over een evt te boeken extra nacht.Dit ivm een staking v air Namibie . \ er bleek achteraf toch geen plaats voor ons te zijn , maar de eigenaresse gaf de schuld hiervan aan haar |(zwarte ) manager, ipv dit intern op te lossen.Daar werden wij buitengewoon kwaad over Verder waren ze gewoon vergeten het bed op te maken,ondanks onze reservering (geen onderlakens en en lag er een buitengewoon smerig reserve kussen.in de kast./(gescheurd & met zwarte haren van een vreemde Verder was het meubilair overal nogal rommelig/ al zag het er bij aankomst leuk uit, met een leuke tuin, maar als je beter keek was het zeer onverzorgd . . Na ons nogal heftige geschil hebben wij ons geld voor de overnachting teruggekregen en hebben wij iets verderop geslapen in een zeer leuk en schoon appartement voor 70 /Etango kostte ca 60 euro.

Ambiente familiare e cordiale, ottima posizione vicina all'Aereoporto Hosea Kutako. Buoni sia il pranzo che la colazione. Ha un po' meno "magia" di una tipica farm namibiana ma ho anche avuto pochissimo tempo per apprezzarne I dintorni.

De kokkin bij de Lapa was een hele goede,de gids en game driver was oke Wat ons tegen viel was de onpersoonlijkheid van de eigenaren.een vriendelijk woord of belangstelling ontbrak.

Farma znajduje sie naprawde 5 minut od lotniska wiec jesli ktos ma poranny lot do Europy, to jest doskonale zlokalizowana. Nawet o swicie dostepna jest kawka, herbatka, mleko. Obsluga mila I bardzo pomocna. Polecamy :)
