Score from 23 reviews Very good
Since the top floor bar is next to the pool, no problem to be barefoot. Also OK in the rest of the Hotel.
Had to pay for wifi in the room
Clean, confortable, modern hotel Efficient and nice staff Excellent restaurants
building noise, had to move
Since the top floor bar is next to the pool no problem to be barefoot.
Comfortable rooms; very pleasant public rooms especially the rooftop pool, lounge and bar area.
The hotel is on a very busy junction, has single glazing and the road noise at 7.00am is unacceptable. The windows were very dirty on the outside - and should I rally expect to find a used shampoo bottle in the shower?
Good meal in the restaurant
Paying for wifi in room mini bar secured with tape. Didnt like to open and put my own bottle of water in.
Breakfast and friendly staff Big modern bathroom
Employees were unpolite in the restaurante. They gave us a chair for the baby that was dirty. No one scort us to the table and no one asked us if we would like a drink. Terrible service.
Getting simple things like change for a large currency denomination can be a pain. No one seemed overly anxious to promote their city or encourage you to enjoy the place. Asking for a map or suggestions was a vain exercise.
It was a very nice hotel for the money and right downtown. I didn't have to get a taxi or drive to anything in the city like the train museum or arboretum. There is a supermarket not far away.
Roof top bar, great breakfast
The fact that wifi is paid only is annoying. On the other hand I was able to use the wifi for free in the lobby. The restaurant hours are too short and the 24 hour room service menu is a bit small.
Good location. Great breakfast. Good facilities overall. nice rooms. a continously flow of taxis ready to take you somewhere. A safe bet when visiting Windhoek.
A club on the premises was allowed to play extremely loud music from 12 midnight until 5 am. The noise was heard several floors up so we could not sleep. Then on the Saturday at 2pm the entire pool deck was overtaken by a locals party with the same loud music until 10pm. Residents were invited but very few attended due to the noise and behaviour of non residents who where allowed access to all levels of the hotel as lift security was non existent.
Very poor service in the bar.
Room size and decor. Reception staff were fantastic.
Dont change the bedding regularly and poor cleaning at room toilet
Didn't like the fact that the room rate varied in accordance with occupancy rate - we were charged more between Monday night and Friday night...
Staff very accommodating. Lots of facilities - pool, gym.
Nothing to complain about but thought the New years party was a bit overpaid for what we received.
Friendly staff, great food and clean place. Location are one of the best.
Almost everything except the ones I have highlighted here.
Please avail free wifi like other hotels of this status across the continent and the rest of the World. THE TOWELS ARE NOT TO THE REQUIRED STANDARD
In restuarant, grill lamb tops done in micro wave , send it back and left.
The room and sky bar service
I find it unbelievable that one is charged for Wifi in expensive hotels. EVERYBODY but EVERYBODY provides this free of charge. Either include it in t he price so I do not get upset or provide it free of charge.
The hotel is a good quality hotel.
room was not prepared for the 3 guests as was stated in reservation, on top there was a cockroach in the bathroom. The restaurant food was not good and the staff was not helpfull at all with solving our problems. The restaurant manager was even "too busy" to talk to us.
Very small gym.
Location, confort, quality vs price,
We found the restaurant and breakfast extremely expensive. It is a much better option to sleep only and it at affordable restaurants and coffee shops around Windhoek.
The staff are very profissionals and friends. Nice location.
The food was a bit average and quite expensive at the hotel. It's easier to go for a drive/walk and find food in the city.
