Hilton Windhoek    

The food is very nice and good value of money, I like especially the breakfast. I love the sky bar at 9 floor and the hotel is one of the best in windhoek

One of the receptionist was not so friendly when I approached to her to explain why I had an extra charge to my room prior to my check out, also the internet is very expensive.

I like the accomodation and design of the Hotel. Based on my experience in previous Hilton Hotels in Europe I can tell that it was good to be in a very pleasant hotel.

I noted that even though the hotel is offering a good quality in terms of structure, the personal is not qualified for the job. I have also seen some uncomomn gaps on the service itself and that is the management responsability to look at on a five star hotel. I have not seen a simple welcome frut basket in the room, chocolates were on top of the bed just on the day after our arrival without a classic touch, they were just thrown in there. Room were cleaning daily, but a courtesy walk through in the room to make sure that all was Ok were missing... My advise is for the Management to look up to other Hiltons best practise and seek for changes, otherwise, there will be a big risk to maintain the level of a five star hotel and the clients for this hotel.

The door at the parking bay is always dirty... ...the shower (room 111) was blocked... couldnt have a proper shower at all... otherwise thumbs up

The restaurant staff, I had a baby and they could cook specially to him.

When checking out, the person at the desk tried to include a bill from the bar (388 Rands) when i've never been there. It was 6 AM, When i complain they told that to cancel should wait the manager who arrives only at 8:00. I became furious because i had to be at airport at 6:30, finally he cancelled. Beside, there were customers with same problem, so I conclude that they try to do it frequently. They just put any bill from Kalabar, if you are not attentive you pay it and they keep the money for them. I loose 20 min... it was

Luxury and budget-frendly for family whit small kids.Breakfast was great!Children enjoyed the pool on the 9 floor of the hotel.We will certainly visit the hotel again!!!

Dinner was a poor.Sauna was not working!

The hotel is excellent and very good value for money. We had a problem with the shower being blocked but it was sorted out within minutes. The staff are very friendly and the location in Windhoek very good.

Paying for the internet.

Very relaxing, comfortable. Service was very good also.

When we went to pay, there were costs for room service etc. Although we did use room service a couple of times, there was not cost breakdown for what it was accually for and how much each thing cost.

It is absolutely absurd that we had to pay for Internet, let alone pay separately for each device!!

The hotel is well located at the city centre and has great services. It has a sky bar with a great view over the city, outdoor pool, spa, fitness center l, travel desk, 24hr room service and a great value for money. It's clean and luxurious. The staff is very friendly.

Internet access is to be paid around 21 USD/device and sometimes is very slow.

Good 5 star , however put a brush in the toilets for hygene.

I need to go to the reception daily to reactivate my card keys so that I can use it to activate the lifts and door. not much choice on restaurants and foods.

We slept there twice and the first time was excelllent

The second time we were given a room with noise and the toilet started making noise in the middle of the night and had to be moved to another room, it was not nice because we had a long trio after that. The supervisor gave us a discount because of that.

As always the service at the Hilton was excellent. We always try to stay at a Hilton Hotel when travelling. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Really enjoy the rooftop pool and bar at this hotel.

It is unbelieveble that you have to pay for internet acces. I payed for an hour, used half an hour and had to pay again. We have been in lodges in the middle of nowhere where acces was free and much faster.

Off all the locations we stayed over during our vacation in Namibia, this has to be the worse experience we have had to date. We found the staff to be completely unhelpful and unfriendly to say the least. From the point of check in, i was asking the lady at reception questions as to their processes. She point blank ignored me and continued to place a hold on my card without answering my questions. The Quality of the food we ordered from the menu were also questionable. On the Sunday evening we ordered snacks, and only received half of what we ordered, and it was cold. The paid parking was not secure at all, as you could just walk in from the street into the parking lot, with no security stopping you. From all the five star hotels we have stayed at, I have to say the Hilton in Namibia has none of them. We decided to checkout as early as possible on Monday morning and skipped their breakfast, as we had enough of the bad service.

The hotel is beautifully designed. Loved the central location. Clean pool. Fantastic service from everyone working over the holiday season. Food is of very good quality and everyone is very eager to help.

I would like to see more entertainment for children. Even the drinking glasses at breakfast does not cater for children. Also, it would be nice if guests of the hotel did not have to pay for undercover parking. Undercovep Parking is limited when the hotel is fully booked, so it would be a good idea to book parking for your car, along with your room. This will secure your parking. Also, how about free wi-fi in each room? Make sure your guests know that when you pay for one hour, you cannot log out and log on again. Once you've logged out, your hour has expired.
