It is a simple place, but good enough for the price. The breakfast was good.
Plenty of space for parking at Uhland - great base if you have hired a 4x4 for travelling and need to stock up in Windhoek before starting your journey.
peace, quiet - brilliant
Especially in the dining room the mood was nice.
The water from shower is weak and one of stuff was not helpful for making the bill.
The hotel was well suited for area in which I needed to work. I was well priced and comfortable. Within 10 minutes walking of Joe's Beerhouse. You haven't been to Windhoek until you've been to Joe's.
WiFi connection was not the best I have had but was adequate for short periods.
short distance to downtown. you can store your luggage and use the premises all day until your late flight. staff is very helpful organizing tours and ground transportation
The breakfast, the location and the staff smiling, helping like friends I'll return there next week
The WiFi was sometimes problematic, maybe because of the operator. I'll ask next week
large apartment with a quite confortable bed, bathroom large as well
too illuminated in the morning, curtains were too thin
Very nice and willing staff. Good breakfast. We stayed here the first and the last night during our stay in Namibië.
Very poor Wifi although promises of good Wifi.
I departed before breakfast so the staff offered me a picnic take away breakfast instead. This I gratefully accepted at no additional cost to me.
The staff went out of their way to ensure a good stay. They accommodated me for an early departure before the reception was open.
We had a really bad experience with dinner, too few staff and food was mediocre. The TV in the room did not work and in general the furniture was old, expected more for the price paid.
I think R800+ per night for a room right at the back of the building with a concrete wall and electric fence right in front of the door, is a bit much.
Friendly and helpful staff. Food options. Drinks fridge stocked in room. Location suited us perfectly.
Internet access at most places in Namibia was average. If internet access is advertised I would expect it to be a bit better.
good relation between pricce and quality
The menu in the restaurant was very simple.
Breakfast, Staff friendly
Wi fi poor, Room not enough comfortable . Two single for a couple with small blankets
The staff was very friendly - and they made us breakfast-to-go as we had to leave early.
Rooms are very basic
The excellent breakfast The nice garden environment The warm-hot shower
-Lack of heating in winter time (freezing cold room No. 1) -Wi-Fi only before 9am, slow over noon, and only after 10pm due to overuse at the provider
Environment is excellent, clean and quiet. Good for short time stay. And they have two lovely dog!
The TV and bed is small.
Attractive, clean room and friendly staff.
Wifi only in common area.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Poor wifi connection inside the room
The staff was very helpfull and comprehensive because we arrived at 6:45 after a 19 hours bus ride. At 9:00, after a good breakfast, we had a room to rest a bit before visiting Windhoeck.
Location, breakfast, beds comfortable, helpful staff
Wi-fi not great in some rooms Bathrooms in standard rooms uncomfortably small
The price was fair for the minimal facilities in the bedroom.
Surely the establishment can afford shower curtains or the like? Not pleasant to have a soaking bathroom, because these have been missing. A can of "Peaceful Sleep" will go a long way to better service.
- Very kind staff. - Big and confortable rooms
- We expected to be closer to the city center
