Location, central to all highways and airport
Enjoyed the breakfast.
The carpets in the passages could be replaced not a good impression. More secured parking, space tight to park.
the location was very central
the building was run down . the hotel did not live up to the Protea Brand standard . the WiFi reception was limited to the foyer area. the room furniture in poor condition
I like the booking without a credit card because of internet fraud. I paid my reservations on arrival which I was happy about even though I could not use my Diners card which I had intended to use.
Their staff are very cold, impersonal and robotic like. I smile to people and I chat friendly hence I could not even tip them as they appeared stone faced and looked at me as weirdo when I chat or smile to them. I felt really embarrassed.
ease of booking in, the welcome, the breakfast was perfect
the meals took a bit long in coming, the lamb cutlets could be better
Single ply toilet paper. Holes in towels. No floor towel. TV's not working. Wifi got disrupted and nobody could address. Shower head was broken. Tap was coming of the basin when touched. Not even a complementary bottle of water in room.
the breakfast was very good.and sanitary also.in the middle of the centre from windhoek.
the receptionist didn't read the booking well.
Staff very helpfull.
Only one printer with no ink!!! Parking a little small .
Breakfast hampers given to us on our early departure
Small room as against huge bathroom My son getting diarrhoea after having supper with us in the hotel Rooms not well maintained - shows wear & tear
Location not bad. Made a reasonable breakfast for an early trip to the airport.
Hotel did not live up to the Protea brand. Staff took an hour and a reminder to produce a second glass for two persons in a double room. Hotel was old and jaded. Lift was archaic! On our second night visit the hotel had lost our booking. Not one we will return to.
The rooms ate nice and big
Good location in the city, very neat and friendly staff, a good breakfast.
No free WiFi !!!!!, though this is already a common practice world wide, this makes the hotel not user-friendly for business and keeping in touch with home and friends
Sometimes offer discounts for clients with more days
Price compared to quality.
Big room, good wi-fi
some noice from the street
Professinalism and access to station
Ridiculous ramp to parking. Damaged bottom of my car.
Clean and good access into the City but some distance away from the good restaurants in Klein Windhoek
The hotel is in need of a makeover. Limited number of TV channels
The desk staff were very friendly and helpful
The waiters were a bit slow and did not seem to understand us clearly
kindness and good atitude. I also liked the breakfast
its an old building
Breakfast was good
The bathroom smelled bad. There was no ventilation inside the bathroom. There was no electric plug for a shaver.
Room had damp smell and the floor in the bathroom was always wet due to leaking taps. Breakfast was never ready on time - we were told that breakfast starts at 06h30am, but every morning by almost 7h00am still not eggs were ready! I received a wi-fi code, which did not work - when I went to reception to ask for a new one, I was told " sorry you cant have another voucher because you only get 1 per day " - surely if the one I was given did not work, then I am owed a working voucher! Normally you associate Protea Hotels with higher quality service and rooms, but clearly not with this hotel - would not recommend it to anyone!
The room was very small with just a shower and no bath Totally over priced This room should not be more than R650/night The food was poor with the steak so tough we had to send it back The dining room is dark and depressing There was loud thudding music and shrieking voices till 4am in the morning from the bar behind the hotel
Advertisement claimed newly renovated. We selected the hotel on the strenght of the advertisement. Lift filthy, carpets dirty, 2nd floor opposite room 206 in passage filth against wall. Room 206 toilet does not flush, bason plug no longer adjusts. Staff could give no info on the city and what to see. Most dissapointing stay of our 2 week long stay in Namibie! Very noisy !
Size of the room
Location , over prized not worth more than R650-00 per night
the prostitutes in the hotel over the night and the criminals in the city at the beginning of the evening
