Sandfields Guesthouse

We absolutely loved the place and the hosts Richard and Jean who were extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are big and cosy and the breakfasts are great. We stayed there 2 nights and will choose the place again if in Swakop. We definitively recommend this place!

The owners and their lovely staff let me feel as a friend from the first second. Sandfield offers some features which I have even never seen in 5-star hotels, E.G. home-made sponge cakes, decaffeinated and regular coffee, a variety of fruits ... all free of charge. In addition, they helped me wonderfully to arrange some leisure trips into the desert. All were very oblinging, but never pushy. I had a great time and will hopefully be able to come back anytime. I absolutely recommend Sandfield's Guesthouse.

It's a bit tricky to find, so make sure you have a good map or guide.

I have been coming to swakop every 3 months, this is the most impressive place i have ever stayed so far. They are very proffessional on everything they do. I liked mostly their breakfast and how it is adminstered. This have definately became my home away from home.

Please install a small fridge in rooms.

Rooms very well equipped, nice and clean. Personnel is very kind and helpful. Location is calm and nice, close to the seaside.

Too distant to go to the city centre by walking, but it is not a problem if you have a car.

A really lovely comfortable place in Swakopmund. We had 2 rooms between the four of us and they are large and mosern and very comfortable. The breakfast is to die for...best one in Namibia! The people are lovely and friendly (as is their lovely dog which my daughter loved!) and they offered us good advice re travelling and distances...

The guesthouse was perfectly located, 2 blocks from the ocean, on a quiet street, about 3 minute drive north of lighthouse. It is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, wood burning fireplace, and clean ensuite bathrooms. It is quiet, relaxing, and comfortable. The breakfast is perfect with fruit, yogurt, bread, cheese, and many hot selections. Nadine at the front was very helpful recommending & making reservations for restaurants & activities. Make sure to take advantage of the many adventures/activities around Swakopmund & Walvis Bay. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We had a lovely stay. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were great - loved the down comforters - perfect for the slightly chilly nights. Easy walking distance to the beach. We'd definitely stay again!

Room was very spacious and well appointed. Great facilities, friendly staff and located close to the beach and not to far from the city cemtre.

Die Restaurant-Empfehlung Leuchtturm war nicht die beste. Wir haben dort gruselig gegessen.
