Located alongside the beach, Hotel Beaurivage is 10 minutes' drive from Noumea's city centre. It offers private room with free WiFi.
Score from 18 reviews Very good
Quiet room central location for museum and shops
Lack of a pool
Central to the limited sites of interest in Noumea itself.
Bed was great. Staff were helpful.
Oldish but everything in Noumea is oldish.
bed too small
A fair place to stay in the centre of town for one night
Expensive for what you get. Pour breakfast selection for the money.
the wifi was so poor in my room I would be reluctant to stay there again
Receptionists tried very hard to understand my English.
Internet connection was not strong in the room. Perhaps rooms at the front of the building have better reception
The hotel is well maintained, no holes or paint chips, it's clean and smells nice. The staff are helpful and can speak some English if your French is poor. It is a good hotel if you want the inner "city".
The WiFi has dynamic bandwidth so downloading a 9Meg PDF was quite painful. General Email it's fine.
close proximity to centre.
The hotel was operated on a very professional basis. The franchise had made a proper study of our needs, and the local staff carried out all duties in a friendly and efficient way. It can be strongly recommended as a comfortable and affordable hotel for a business or touristic stay,
Access to a guest lounge even like the breakfast room, for group meetings or work would have been good...The change for local phone calls was a little high, in these days of mobile roam; the courtesy of an inexpensive landline would be appreciated ... We had a window accessible to an outside shared veranda and wondered about security - but did not check that out and guess that it is probably OK.
Le Paris was central for having a look around the Centre Ville of Noumea. Close to the Cathedral and Museums. Easy walk to the markets and the water front restaurants and bar.
Right in the middle of CBD
A little pricey.
Be careful if you decide to stay in this place. Noticed that someone opened my backpack when I was out. Employees didn't care about and also surcharged me. Watch out!
Central location and easy walk to the harbour. Great, friendly staff and clean rooms.
City center, near to most facilities. Receptionists were very helpful. especially Carolans who could speak good english.
Nothing is open on a Sunday or public holiday, including restaurants! McD on the quay is the only food place open.
Central location within easy walking distance to the Marina and the Latin Quarter. Staff ready to go the extra mile to help out. Value for money and cleanliness. Great hotel if you are starting or ending a sailing trip.
Typical "Saturday night " Street-Party noise can sometimes intrude.
Easy location to get to, we arrived at Port Moselle and could easily walk to the hotel with our luggage. Helpful, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Room spacious and clean, very comfortable bed.
Very small reception area and access into the hotel is limited by size. Otherwise all great for 2 star.
Great central CBD location, and easy to join the tourist walking-tour of the city, i.e. close to all sites. Close by to fabulous French bakeries.
The Red Cross 'free hand-outs' organisation is immediately across the road which attracts undesirables (drunks, being harassed, discarded booze bottles/cans in the street, etc.) - The Red Cross don't care, the police don't care!
Staff was helpful and ready to answer any questions. Next to the Some attractions in the city center.
The hotel's location can seem a bit unsafe at night. perhaps it was our impression.
Staff were friendly and helpful and put up with our attempts to speak French although everyone we encountered did speak English which made it much easier to arrange things where our French was limited. The rooms were basic but very clean, bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was a blessing! Very close to the local market (marche) which is open until 11am and filled with all sorts of tasty treats and music on the weekends. After visiting Anse Vata and the Bay of Lemons (baie de citron), I am glad we chose here rather than a there since it is far less touristy and gave us a chance to practice our French and eat where the locals eat etc.
The area the hotel is located in is bustling most days of the week however, unbeknownst to us after midday on Saturday and all day Sunday almost everything is closed. Not the hotel's fault but worth noting if you're planning a stay there on the weekend since even finding food was tough. However, the local market is close and was open on Sunday morning which meant we didn't have to eat breakfast at the hotel.
