My plane was late, so no big problem with that, however when I entered the appartment it reminded me of a morge it seemed so dead. There were no shops open, I was weary and it would have been nice if they had at least given a welcome pack with a few sticks of coffee, a couple of tea bags and some milk and sugar. There was nothing. No cleaning detergent to do the dishes, there was 2 toilet rolls to last 10 days, two small cakes of soap, and two flat small envelopes of hair shampoo, (not like the items on the pictures of the rooms.) The utensils were almost absent, no sharp knife to cut anything, was very difficult to cook anything. My husband and I stayed 10 days, no new towels in that time and worse, no changing of sheets on the bed. No cleaning service for the room unless you paid for it, which is no problem to me, but no items given to clean up the rooms, (one small broom but no pan). I will return to Noumea many times in the next few years as I am learning French, but I will never stay at this place again. We left and moved to the Hilton.
The Staff at Reception were excellent. Friendly, helpful and smiled.
