Score from 24 reviews Good
The location on the beach was fantastic, surrounded by several restaurants and bars. This is also a negative aspect. Hotel facilities are good, although they could be improved substantially. Members of staff are terrific and the hotel is extremely clean.
There is a nightclub behind the hotel that plays loud music until the wee hours of the morning. It reverberates through the hotel, not allowing guests to sleep well. Earplugs are provided, but it is ridiculous. Installing double-glazed windows would have mitigated a great deal of the noise, but the hotel has cut corners. There were no outlets near the bed to plug in any electronics. No bedside lights for reading. The wifi only worked outside of the room. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. These things seem trivial; however, this is one of the most expensive places to stay in SJDS, so you must expect more. The noise alone is a deal-breaker.
almost everything! I felt at home and safe
walking up the stairs
Our room was beautiful, spacious and with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
There is a bar a few doors down whose music you can hear pretty well in your room. It didn't bother us though.
Excellent staff, big comfortable rooms, the room balcony was amazing, the hotel decor was beautiful, easy acess to anywhere, across the street from the beach and delicious restaurants, safe, I don't think you could ask for anything more........I had the best time, can't wait to go back!!!
No refrigerator in room and just a bit noisy but, nothing major.
The location was excellent, right in front of the beach, and you can park your car in the street right at the hotel door. The service was excellent as well. The room was very big and had AC and a beautiful view to the San Juan beach.
Be careful, excellent location to go to the beach and if you go oit at night. But you will find " ear plugs" between your bathro accesories, the hotel is right in the party area, you will hear the music from your room. It is not something you would expect from a hotel of this price :(
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was a little worried about reports of loud music and night, but didn't find it to be a problem. The decor is modern, clean and sophisticated - probably one of the more chic looking hotels in town and a great value. Had an excellent 5 day stay.
Amazing staff! Everything was very well run. I would definitely recommend others to stay at your hotel. Thanks!
Very friendly stuff.
Clean, comfortable, helpful and friendly
Noisy at night with local music.
Amazing staff and perfect location if you dont mind the noice at night
There is no elevator but we were ok with that and I think they dont have bar or restaurant but anyway there are lots of restaurants and bars just steps away from the hotel
We would have liked to have known in advance there was a band and big street party right out of our window for almost 18 hours straight. It was not the quiet pleasant weekend we had
New, clean and crisp hotel Location, however right in front of busy bars so if you're a light sleeper might not be convenient Breakfast served in the room Male receptionist was very kind and helpful
No fridge in the room Very strict check-in time, although the room was ready we couldn't get in earlier than 3pm Expensive for SJDS Coffee at breakfast
Everything was perfect. Thank you!!!
We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, we wanted to stay close to the beach, and this hotel is right in front of the marina and has great views. The kitchen was under construction, so they served a small but tasty breakfast consisting of fruits, orange juice and coffee, but nothing cooked like eggs. The staff was nice and friendly. Overall, we think the hotel is still a bit rough around the edges, but they provide a good service still.
The first room we stayed had an odd smell so the manager moved us to another room. We think it is not elegant that they leave all the cleaning products in a compartment below the lavatory. The hotel is on a street with lots of bars, so be ready for lots of noise on some nights.
The close proximity to the beach, bars and restaurants was awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The close proximity to the bars had the bad side of causing a lot of noise at night that could be heard clearly in the rooms. The hotel did however provide earplugs to muffle the bar/street noise.
The furniture and the design of the rooms is nice. Big, spacious rooms with comfortable balcony, including bay view. Pool is very small, but situated in a welcoming, quiet patio.
No fan in the room. Prefer it, to the ice cold air conditioner during nighttime. Unpleasant, musty smell in our room, especially in the bathroom. The surroundings are quite noisy during nighttime, because of many clubs and bars around. I think the price is too high in comparison to other stays in Nicaragua. Particularly because the price comes without breakfast. They even don't serve breakfast at all, which is not a real problem, because there ar enough restaurants in the area.
Location was perfect to all of the restaurants and shops. Especially the beach.
Pool looks bigger on line, and would have been better if they had a small bar to get drinks such as filtered water when needed.
