At first we were placed in a room nr 2 (right next to the reception), where we could hear everything was said by people entering and leaving. Then we asked to be moved and they moved us kindly to room nr 7 in the middle. Still in the morning it was really noisy, people shouting in the yard which is literally next to the room. You cannot fully close the room window.
The property looks nice and is very cosy. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
For the price I have payed it's OK
The location excellent:value for money. The rooms are a little noisy.
Location, pool, breakfast, large room
Would recommend hotel use newer towells...ok freyed but dtracts from all the other fine points, also would be nice to have hotwater with tea and coffee available at all times in the lobby...high quality instant would be fine.
Location perfect, wifi good all over hotel, nice breakfact, good a/c
No counter space in the bathroom sink, but considering the price of the room, it was a good choice.
Very helpful staff. One staff member helped me wrap a painting I purchased in town.
breakfast can improve in quality and quantity
In a quiet zone just 3 blocks from touristic & party places.
Poor breakfast. Bad water pressure in the shower. A bit tacky decoration.
Good location in a quiet area. Easy check in/check out. Garden. Felt safe.
a bit noisy during the Christmas season (locals love a few random fire crackers marching bands and church bells during the night) but not much vehicle traffic on this street.
open court yard, only a couple blocks from the town square, good value for the dollar
Beds not too comfortable. Very few people on staff. It was dangerous walking to your room at night since they do not leave any lights on and the central courtyard is pitch black. Make sure your a/c is working before you settle in to your room.
Charming feel to the place. the very few people on Staff were nice ad tried to please.
If there was something that I didn't like, I wouldn't return.
Everything. It will now be my home away from home. Of course there are more luxurious places, but to me they are over rated.
The quality for the price of many, not all, of the centrally located restaurants was substandard at best. The hotel staff may know where a place to eat is located but didn't really seem to know the quality/value of the restaurant. However, when I used the restaurants recommended by the horse drawn carriage drivers (#.23 was particularly helpful), I definitely got what I paid for.
Excellent breakfast (hot, tasty and ready promptly at 7 by the pool), helpful staff, walking distance to everything, a peaceful nights rest! What more could you ask for? All in all a very pleasant four day stay while enjoying the beautiful architecture of a fabulous old colonial city that is still largely intact. The Hotel Kekoldi is within a few blocks of the center of everything so it makes getting up early for a morning photography (great light for the colorful buildings) walk very simple indeed. I saw lots in four days but have lots more left to see so I will be returning to Hotel Kekoldi, my new home away from home in spectacular Granada!
evening staff... error not interesting doesnot understand clearly what we ask he was beginning opening for us the envelope that another room has put in the safe even it was not our room number WE DID NOT ASK HIM TO TAKE SOMETHING FROM THE SAFE WE WANTED TO PUT OUR THINGS IN THE SAFE. OOPS ! we decided not to put things in the safe
everything and day staff
The wifi was consistently in and out. They also tried to double charge us when checking out.
The accommodations were acceptable, and the staff accommodating.
The employees are excellent. Arlen and Carlos are very helpful and friendly. Marling is the nicest person with the best smile in Granada!
Great staff - friendly, helpful, and very aware of who their guests are. Security was excellent. Safe and quiet. Breakfast was simple, delicious, fresh - a new selection of food every day.
Our room at the front of the hotel was a bit noisy due to proximity to both the reception desk and the street. Hotel arranged for someone from Erick Tours to transport us to the airport promising $15 for the trip, but driver insisted on $15 per person when we arrived at the airport. Not the fault of the hotel, but we were ripped off and I hope they don't work with this company again.
Pretty hotel in a convenient but quiet location. Breakfast was very good. Staff very helpful and friendly.
I'm just sorry that I didn't discover this place earlier in my trip.
Lots of comfortable places to sit and relax; fabulous breakfast; big shower; friendly staff; reliable internet connection; great value
great location far enough from main square to be quiet but close enough to be within walking distance
The staff were absolutely wonderful and were able to help with all my requests.
Good location and value for money.
Arlen, the desk clerk, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful with directions, and very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The hotel was about 5 blocks from the central plaza and cathedral. An easy walk to restaurants and stores. It was a very nice hotel.
No eggs available in the breakfast.
Wifi a bit temperamental
Pool Quiet Free wifi Close to main square (4blocks) Air conditioning Free breakfast
friendly, helpful staff. Relaxing atmosphere in general. In the evening at times it could be noisy in rooms close to the desk in main lobby.
