Enjoyed swimming on hot days. Breakfast was champ. Staff was friendly.
room was very good and clean
the location to far from the center of granada
The staff was rude. Mostly just uneducated and miserable people. Very strange group of people. Uncomfortable place to stay.
My husband and I were very pleased when we arrived at the hotel. The pool is very nice, rooms clean and hot water, ac and WiFi can be a tricky combination to find in Nicaragua so we were happy. Also, they knew it was or honeymoon trip so they had a bottle of wine and rose petals everywhere upon our arrival.
The dogs in the surrounding neighborhood, which is residential and we felt uncomfortable walking home through at night (our own fault for not hauling a cab), began barking in unison around 330am and did not cease until 6ish. We got no sleep they were so loud and unrelenting! The hotel is great but that was definitely a locational downfall.
A nice little hotel with a beautifully pool in a courtyard. You can reach the center of Granada by foot.
The beds were not very clean and the air conditioner was very loud. The breakfast was not ok, there were too few fruits.
This is absolutely the best hotel I have stayed at in the last ten years! Everything is brand new, top quality beds, fixtures, towels, linens, a/c, best coffee I've ever drank, top qualtiy breakfast. Hotel workers are absolutely delightful & helpful at every turn, Landscaping & pool are divine. Artwork on the walls is wonderful. Excellent bar. Easy access to the center of Granada. I guarantee that if you stay here you won't want to leave!!
Pool and bed were very comfortable
The staff did not go out of their way to help you and it felt like sometimes you were a nuisance. The shower was very poor and the breakfast was sub- par.
The room, the pool, the hotel is beautiful. Super clean and safe! Front desk service was ok.
Weak Cocktails + overpriced, unfriendly service from the kitchen staff at breakfast.
The staff was great, the pool and courtyard was very nice, and the free breakfast was very good. (We were surprised that they actually had a choice of breakfasts considering that it was free.) Internet was important to us and it was very good the entire 4 days. Everyone is very nice and we felt very safe.
The bathroom was tiny... and we should've known better since it's a small boutique hotel, but there was no conditioner. No big deal - the girl's up front directed us to a local store and we picked up some packets for .20 'per hair serving' :)
Great place in a good quiet location
I love this place. I stayed in Granada for 2 weeks (2nd time there). This time I wanted 1 week out of the action and 1 week in the middle of the action Hotel Dario). The pool at Dulce is the best. At other Hotels, people barely swim. At Hotel L M Dulce, guests become more social and open up. I am 60 and from Chicago. I go to Granada in Feb. for the weather and the people. The neighborhood is wonderful. Next year, I will stay 1 week here, and split the next week between Colonial and Dario. This is the most relaxing I am glad that the workers are allowed to be the most fun. Thank you Sosha.
The pool is very nice. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast
On arrival they gave us room nr 7. Very dark with a very small double bed. I didn't want to stay there. After some pushing from our side they gave a us another room on the first floor. Much bigger, nicer and with a bigger bed. Avoid room nr 7!
The hotel very clean and had lots of flowers around the small pool. Friendly staff.
Our room next to the cafe was a bit dark.
My son and I found this little gem, located within walking distance to Granada's beautiful central plaza square. The service we received at La Mar Dulce was fabulous.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Pool is great.
Breakfast quality dipped just a bit when the hotel (mostly) emptied out except for me.
Everything about the hotel was fine. The staff was excellent. The ladies at the front desk spoke English so that helped out quite a bit. The pool was really nice.We stayed in room 17 upstairs. Small stand up balcony facing street was nice to watch the world go round and balcony overlooking pool and courtyard with table just outside door
WIFI is weak and had to go sit on table outside room to use internet
Nice small hotel with pretty pool area
Very small rooms especially bathrooms which only have space for one person. Breakfast a bit meagre - not even a second cup of coffee offered. Don't stay by the street which is subject to irritating noises throughout the night. Hotel is rather far out but at least potentially more peaceful
