very helpful staff
very noisy, no outside windows
Staff is friendly. Very accommodating. The hotel is a great place to relax. Food is very reasonable. The pool is a great place to relax. Hot water in the shower. The owner is very friendly. His son Eric is very helpful.
No fault of the hotel. Managua has very little sites to see.
Staff was very friendly and accommodated all our requests. This is Nicaragua so all the comforts of an American hotel aren't to be expected. This is located in a residential neighborhood. That means it's not too easy to walk to anything, but also means it's very safe.
This hotel is a good save neighbour Good price ,clean and friendly staff. Could not ask for more View of roof terrace is amazing Breakfast was good as well
The desk clerk/cook, Fatima was excellent as well as the owner Erick Ramirez. A very comfortable, clean hotel.
It is located in a residential neighborhood. There are no restaurants within walking distance, however the hotel serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner.
Kind staff if little English spoken. Nice roof terrace to catch the breeze.
Be careful if you don't have any Spanish - not much English spoken
Very good suport from the personal!
great breakfast, hot shower, a/c worked well.
a bit hard to find
Customer service very good Breakfast delicious.
The entrance to location.
Arriving at the airport and heading to San Juan, it is well located for just that. Take a taxi for $20 from the airport go to Hotel Lomas Del Vallee, spend the night and you are right on your way to San Juan because you are at a walking distance to Masaya highway. Honest people form the hotel will help you in many ways, will accommodate you all the way. Don't expect 5 star comfort, because if you do, you'll be disappointed. If you are ok with the basics comfort wise, then you'll be fine. The food they serve is good and fresh, you will not be sick from it. The staff is very good and friendly. I recommend this hotel.
Nice and clean place. Staff very friendly. pickup very effective (in time at the airport). Breakfast very good and fresh prepared.
The optional pickup is charged extra (which is mentioned) with a rate almost as high as the room rate. 20 USD one way. Room rate 40 USD. Transport takes 20-30 minutes. If the son of the owner who speaks excellent German is not available, no one speaks English. Breakfast takes 45 minutes, even if no other guests are present.
The staff was great and very helpful
The property was a little hidden and off the beaten path
We stayed 3 nights there; Very safe, quiet area with gates. Meals were delicious. All the staff were kind, especially Eric was wonderful and friendly guy. I needed aspirin for my headache, they went out to buy some, and the staff even refused to take my money. I'd recomend Hotel Lomas de Valle to anyone who wants to visit Managua. For the money we spent for a hotel it was a nice surprise.
A few mosquitos, but nothing else.
Elvis, Fatima, and Sandra are the reason you will keep coming back to this hotel!!! A fantastic staff that will cater to your every need. Price/value relationship for this type hotel is excellent for Managua. Rooms are more than adequate and sparkling clean thanks to Fatima and Sandra! Closeness to Galeria Santo Domingo Mall is a big plus, great restaurants are found there. I will surely use this hotel next time I'm in Managua and highly recommend you do as we'll!
For the price there is nothing to dislike!!! A great bargain.
Airport pickup was easy and convenient. Nice neighborhood.
The balcony up stairs was nice with hammocks and good books
The pool was dirty, we were adviced to not leave the hotel as it was not safe and had to call in for food, it was also a expensive 30 min cab ride from the airport
Friendly, helpful staff and safe neighbourhood.
Fatima and Eric went out of their way to help us out more then one way...helpful from the beginning to the end. Giving and not always asking to pay for little things...On my way from Managua to San Juan Del Sur, it is well located for that. Definitely will go back again.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. I especially liked hanging out on the roof patio in a hammock and reading, then watching the sunset. One can see the lake and all of Managua from there. They provided a taxi when I needed and were in a safe, gated community.I would definitely stay there again.
The safe, gated community is a bit hidden and hard for taxi drivers to find. A little map would help. The jaccusi did not look inviting or kept upI mostly didn't like that someone was mopping the dining room with disinfectant or something that stung my eyes while I was waiting for a meal and eating. I like to open windows at night and there are no screnes to keep mosquitos out. That is par usual in Central America though. The air condition works fin, but I don't use them ( allergies), so my room was very stuffy. Be sure to let them know when you want a meal served by or it may take a long time.
The big shower was nice. Nice amenities like TV. Breakfast was small but fine. Good looking place. Good price. Small problems but overall a good place to stay.
I thought there was supposed to be hot water in the shower, but we didn't get any. The dogs outside were barking a lot. Staff had said they would be up by 5:30 to make us breakfast but they were late. We had to get to the airport in a hurry so it was a little stressful at first that no one was awake.
This place was AWESOME! The owner interacted with us on a regular basis to inquire as to our stay. Beautiful views from the rooftop louge/ dining area. Only needed to stay for 1 night, but wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!! Very clean too. Best stay in Nicaragua.
They were doing small reconstruction while we were there so it was a little noisy and we lost power (lights and wifi) for a while, but not really a big deal. Another reviewer mentions the dirty hot tub...this is true. It needed to be cleaned for sure. Not dirty-gross, but leaves and such.
Friendly, very helpful staff.
eric picked us up from the airport and his english and conversational skills were excellent. in the morning carolina was also brilliant, providing a tasty breakfast, and coached us in spanish on the way to the bus terminal.
It was a large, air conditioned, room in a nicer part of town.
It was a little difficult for the taxis to find.
