If you like beautiful architecture, then you will be charmed by Hotel Spa Granada Makes your stay in this town much more special
Hotel car small, didn't have air conditioning a few days. Not enough info on quality of tours or all your options on restaurants. We found the great restAueants by the lake by accident on our own.
The massage and facials. Front desk people will go above and beyond for you I was having breathing problems and the young lady from the desk ran outside to find me a paper bag to help with my breathing. David let me use his personal phone so I could call my mother back in the states every day he even came in on his day off so I could do this. The importance of the phone call was my mom had a stroke so I was checking in on her. Great people all around.
Nothing to complain about
Beautiful facility and pool area. Close to town square. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
Room was very dark and air conditioning function was minimal. Chemical balance in swimming pool wasn't right. The water burned my eyes.
The ambience, the friendly staff, breakfast, were great! The pool area, although I did not use it, was beautiful. It's an awesome historical hotel. Definitely recommend.
Wifi signal was too low. The bed in the room a bit small for a couple.
Overall great location that was just the perfect distance away from the tourist trap. The pool with bar was perfect for a hot day and the hotel offered a decent breakfast. They also arranged transportation from Managua airport to the hotel. From desk staff was always helpful and accessible.
The hotel's cheaper rooms felt far removed from main areas which made for poor wifi. We had to go to the lobby for the best wifi. There was also poor lighting in the room overall. The rooms were also a little cramped for space and the bed comfort was just okay.
The pool area was very nice and relaxing (we went during low season) and the free massages were great!
The room was poorly lit and only included a full size bed which we found a bit small.
Great price and location. The staff was amazing.
The hardy breakfast and location ..
Beautiful hotel- fantastic value for your money. Staff was incredibly helpful. Beautiful pool, great atmosphere. Spa is fantastic as well. Can't say enough good things!
This is a very nice hotel in a very old house. It ia just a short walk to anywhere in the center. Very nice pool area and artistic seatings all over the common areas gives this hotel a nice charm.
Wifi was very bad but it was bad all over Granada. You have to sit by the lobby to get connected
Good location in downtown Grenada with the Central Park in 5 min walking distance
Our room (heart symbol) missed a window, was kind of sub-terrain with a basement smell and very loud. It had doors to another room and the hallway on 3 sides of the room. We saw other rooms on the 2nd floor which were much nicer. The pool could use a makeover (many tiles missing) and the water quality was not the best (strange smell and burning eyes due to too much chlorid I guess)
The location is good and is the only thing we liked about this hotel.
The hotel is 2-3 stars maximum, definitely not 4 stars. But has the prices of a 4 star hotel. We booked a 'deluxe room' and expected something nice. What we got was a bad maintained, big room, right under the roof. The floor and the ceiling was made with thin wood, so you can hear every step as if somebody walks right through your room. The big room has a small airconditioner and is badly isolated as, as said, the floor and ceiling are covered with thin wood only. The rooms was the whole time 29°C hot with the aircon working full level 24 hours. During the night you can see light coming through the ceiling and you can hear birds walking on the ceiling wood. The floor is not very clean and the bathroom also not. The bathroom is very small. In the room we had millions of termites and ants. Not a nice place. The swimming pool is big, but the water dirty, not a place you want to swim. Reason for this is that 4 ducks live in and around the pool and you can find feathers and bird droppings in and around the pool. Really the dirtiest water in a swimming pool I have seen in my life. And nobody does something as removing the ducks or cleaning the pool. The pictures on the booking platform looked very different from what is reality. The whole pool area is badly maintained. Not recommendable. The breakfast was not good. There was nothing I would like to eat.
fantastic coffee, best we had in nicaragua. breakfast buffet was good. location was very convenient. we had a very nice deck.
not as much privacy as we would like in the hotel. there was a power outage and they didn't have a backup generator so there was no power or water for an entire day (no flushing toilets) and there was no recompense for that inconvenience. for the price it was the poorest value during our 2 week trip.
Very friendly staff and excellent location. Also a beautiful colonial building. The bed was very good with excellent mattress. Good breakfast
Quite noisy, very spacious room but with design furniture to the sphere of the ridiculous. The place needs complete review of interior design
The location of hotel is very good, only one street off city center. Staff are very helpful and willing to answer all your enquiries. Breakfast is great quality and with few optional choices. We also had a lunch in a day we arrived, staff suggestion was very good. Complimentary massage every day great to have after long day of travel, plus good size of swimming pool. We stayed in hotel second time and going to stay again.
We stay upstairs ( what we are like it a lot), just a small issue - old doors to the room were loose and rattle by the wind at night.
A/C don't work good. Ask for a new roon and sent us to a basement..
Great pool Great breakfast Free massages were nice
Room was a bit small and very dark Room was a bit damp
Well appointed room, swimming pool, spa, breakfast, overall ambiance.
Minor point, but a brighter light in the room would have been appreciated. Also, some healthy juice for sale rather than just beer and soft drinks.
the room was very good and clean! staff also very nice and really friendly! the location is top close to everything in the center. good massages!
the pool was nice but i think that swimwater can be cleaner.
The artwork, and landscaping were awesome. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Big clean, infinity pool, near the central parque-- great value.
Everything was perfect : nice, clean, good service, excellent breakfast, huge rooms, only one bad point: teo. For sure, refuse any massage with this woman: Teo. On the other side, my husband had a massage with another woman and his massage was really matching the expectations.
My massage with teo was more than horrible. I had paid for a relaxing massage of one hour. I got out completely broken. It was real torture. Three times I said to her that she was hurting me, and she replied : it is normal. I expected the massage to be really relaxing afterwards but no!!!! Till the end she really pressed my bones to the point that I couldn t stand it anymore. Every single part of my body that has been touched by teo has been damaged. The next morning I had to buy special cream and medicine at the pharmacy to heal the pain left over. Now it has been three days since we are back and my back is still aching. So be careful when you get your massage: dont let Teo touch you.
Good value for money and a nice breakfast spread.
Cheap and tacky decor in common areas really clashes with the nice old colonial building.
Nice historical building, very large room, great breakfast, pool area is nice.
Couldn't get a lounge chair by the pool at least one of the days because of the high number of non-hotel guests who were there to use the pool (which the hotel allows for a fee). Bar by pool only open from approx. Noon - 6:30pm.
Awesome little pool and fantastic help from reception with anything we needed.
Breakfast was fairly average. Second occasion that we stayed room was under noisy extractor fans and not as nice as our perfeft first room. But they did something that made the noise stop so we were quite happy with it afterwards
