24 hour reception, friendly staff, clean room, good wi-fi even on top floor, good area with lots of great cafes and restaurants, short walk to Heineken Experience very small room & bathroom, location out of the centre, quite expensive for what it was, all rooms had ashtrays - inviting smoking!, quite noisy both from people in other rooms and from the outside, breakfast not included and extra charge for using credit card - which is required to book on booking.com but then the hotel took the money in advance from the same credit card, which meant I was charged extra - I was under the impression that I would pay on arrival and could use cash or a different card. |

Me and my friend got a warm welcome from the hotel staff. The hotel location was easy to find and located in strategic area. The room is small but nice and clean. On our second night of stay, technician came to our room (although we hadn't complaining about anything) and made our bathroom hot water tap broken. So, we couldn't have a shower for two days. |

Perfect location for where we were going, excellent price and the staff were very friendly. Room was just what we needed, very small but we knew that from the pictures on the site - very representative photos. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the walls weren't soundproofed so it was quite noisy. |

It was fairly convenient to get around the city. The bus stops were close by. Free Wifi and scored free breakfast. But for it's just continental breakfast. It was good but definitely not worth 9 euros. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay 1.50 euro for hot water. There are no kettle in the rooms so I have asked one of the staff for hot water to make my own tea. Not only did I have to wait for it to boil, and bring it up myself, I have to pay 1.50 euros! Then I asked for iron, and they don't have any available because it was all rented out. Do irons cost that much in Europe to have one in each room?? It wasn't just this hotel, the entire city tries to rip everyone off because of the IBC event. |

The room was large, clean, and comfortable enough. It was just a one night stay so I didn't stay long enough to rate the hotel facilities. Room was large and comfortable but the heating wasn't on and that night the room was quite cold. |

The room had a big bed . Nice location, park across the street, very close to public transportation . Well ... there was a hole in the wall, not too big, but it was a hole . The Breakfast was kinda expensive . The cleaning lady will clean your room even i f you do not want her to go in the room ! ask at the reception if you do not want the cleaning lady to disturb you . |

There were no non-smoking rooms in the hotel. We could find ash and holes burned by cigarettes all over our room. The shower was awful and there were lots of hairs in the tub. The towels were teared. Also, there was no hot water available all the time. The breakfast was expensive, it was better to have breakfast downtown. Overall it was an awful experience to sleep in this hotel. |

Everybody have been so nice to our little family. We had to spend a lot of evening in the hotel bar/garden cause of the baby sleeping in the room... and we had a great time. It was our second stay there... and there will be a third when we go back to Amsterdam. It can be a bit noizy at night. There was rotten/wet spots in the bathroom, but who cares when you have a giant bath! |

It worked well for me. The main things it has going for it is it's pretty clean, staffed 24 hours, and is in a really nice area. The park across the street is great, there are cafes and restaurants up the street, and the street market is but two blocks away. The stairs are steep -- take the lift. And the room is tiny, but manageable. The shower was horrible. Maybe I just couldn't figure it out, but the tub design was exceedingly difficult to use; the knob for hot water leaked extremely hot water and the shower curtain was too long and too big for that pole. Getting out was always a chore and one time I slipped, fell on my back on the tub and took the curtain down with me. Honestly it's hard for me to imagine a more difficult shower design. Until the fall, I was very upbeat about it, thinking it was a cultural learning experience...but it unfortunately crossed the line for me. Overall, for solo folks I think this place works, but I wouldn't stay here with a friend or partner. |
