Location is great. Tram station near there. Van gogh museum and Dam Square so close with tram, just 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and helpfully. Price was good. Sheet and curtains didn't clean. My room didn't have any refrigerator.

24H Reception Desk. No carpet in the rooms. Free Internet Terminals. Very tiny room. Wi-Fi worked only at one of the four days on the 4th floor. Water drain in the shower was clogged and as a result it smelled bad in the room.

Friendly staffs with 24h reception. Good service and assistance. Quiet and peaceful environment. Bathroom was good and clean. Lobby/bar was nice with 3 computers with free internet connections. Furniture was OK but the floor should be renovated. TV was there but there was very poor connections. WiFi did not work at 4th floor.

The location was good, away from the main tourist area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was confortable. The room was very small, although we were aware it was a small room when we booked. The room was also quite run down, with fittings falling off the wall and corners of the wall taped up! But it did the job.

Although it was a small room, it was very nice and that had everything you need, very clean and cozy. The elevator was interesting. It was a non refundable reservation and the total price of reservation was charged one month before the day of booking

Nice and Quiet, with friendly staff. A couple of small maintainence oddjobs (loose handles on doors) needed doing here and there, but nothing major.

The owner is really friendly and helpful. Good ratio quality/price. Clean enough. Well-located in nice area, outside of touristic crowds, but still at a walking distance from downtown (15/20 min). Old furniture, tiny rooms, room facilities a bit loose. A small refurbish would be most probably appropriate.

Hotel is clean and free Wifi. But room is so small There's tram 300 meters away, can reach to city center by 15 minutes of tram journey which is good to see the city. I can stay there again for 1 night but if more than 1 night can find a better one with a bigger room Can suggest if u are looking for clean budget hotel

Location was good, it has many food options nearby. A park (Sarphatipark) in front of the hotel and it's walkable to Albert Street Market. Also a few stops away to Museumplein . And well, it offers quite everything i need, especially free Wi-Fi, so I could just overlook the minor flaws. They did great job in space management, meaning the room was amazingly small lol. Had a hard time moving around inside my room, opening my suitcase, even getting out of the room haha. no hot drink facilities and no bathroom mat. my room became quite messy after shower :( oh and the wall was so thin so you'll hear noises from neighboring rooms

For the money this hotel was a good value. The staff were very nice and helpful when I needed them. I stayed in a single room and was aware beforehand that it would be small so I was disappointed in it. I also was right above the street and didn't find it too noisy at all. There is also a really nice and friendly coffee shop around the corner and the park across the street is nice too. I would recommend this Hotel, it was very clean. I'm only 5'10 (178cm) so the shower was fine for me but if you were really tall it would be difficult to use, it just wouldn't be big enough like wise with the bed.

The location was good and it was well situated. The room was very small but comfortable enough and offered good value for money. My only concern was security as, although there is a security door and a manned desk, I was just given my key when I told them my room number even though one of the receptionists had not seen me before, so I could have been anyone.

We were a bit worried having read some of the reviews about the Aalborg but actually had a very pleasant stay especially considered we paid peanuts for the rooms. The rooms were clean and one was even very smartly decorated with murals depicting various places in Amsterdam. Cool! The staff was friendly and the 24H bar is very reasonably priced and has even got a few Apple Macintosh computers with big screens for internet access (in-room wifi is free but a bit touch and go). Your room may vary but as far as I'm concerned ours were well worth the money. Expect noise. This is not the place to go for peace and quiet, but hey, Amsterdam is not usually the destination to go if you're seeking relaxation. The in-room massage option advertised in single rooms raised a few eyebrows but hey, this is Amsterdam after all :). Also, some of the showers are not too comfy as they're over 'space saving' bathtubs with slanted floors. All the rest is more than adequate for a budget hotel.

Suprisingly nice for the low price, especially compared to other hotels in the city. Staff was very nice. A bit away from the main tourist sights, but a nice low cost option if you're mainly looking for a place to sleep. Rooms are a bit tight space-wise (think Nordic hotel rooms), and walls a bit thin, but you get what you pay for and it's quite nice for the price.
