The location allowed us to walk all over the inner city, and the museums were next door. Channal trip could be started very close to hotel. Staff very helpfull, breakfast good .
Location, staff, breakfast, wifi, near transportation, quiet,
Room was small, Bed sagged a bit.
Good location near three big museums, very quiet neiborhood and superfriendly staff. Good traffic connections and a big supermarket nearby.
A bit too little bathroom and no fridge though balcony served as such because of the season. At breakfast the was no beacon and eggs, but otherwise all was fresh and excellent.
culture in about to minutes walking. One minute walking from luxury fashion Breakfast very nice Hospitallity awesome!
Excellent location to visit major musiums and not too far from other attractions. Every one of the staff was all polite and very helpful.
No tea/coffee making facilities with an electric kettle. The floor mat placed outside the shower room gets wet and messy everytime you use the shower as the half of the shower room is open (no glass wall).
Location Price Helpful staff Clean
Location - near Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein Very comfortable beds Lovely pillows Beautiful room, very traditional decor and large space Lovely quiet hotel, dark due to thick curtains, great to sleep in
The TV was tiny and the picture was bad. We had to stay in at night due to baby, so would have liked a decent TV The carpet needed a clean It was quite expensive- not sure if good value The breakfast ended early- we went down at 10am and got dirty looks
Beds really comfortable Staff friendly and really helpful Good breakfast plenty of space to hang clothes
If you have noisy guests in the hotel, then the walls are a bit thin, but hardly the hotels fault.
Tables were slow been cleaned after guests in the breakfast room, coffee mediocre, bedrooms were Key access as opposed to swipe access. Beds and in particular the pillows were uncomfortable
The location is very good, next to key train stations(airport, train station, city centre).the downtown is just a 15 min pleasant walk away. The rooms are cozy and practical, don't expect luxus though. Very quiet area,no noise at all.Definetly to come back.
Well,I had to think a while to fill this part. I actually have no issue, maybe it was a bit expensive, as the whole city by the way.
Central location, clean room, decent view, nice staff
Room was too small. It was more an attic than a room
Very good breakfast. Room and bed comfortable. Beautiful building. Booking etc easy. Appreciated the fact that luggage could be stored for a few hours. Thanks!
water kettle and some tea bags would have been very welcome. Shower room: soap dispenser in shower tends to come off. Floor wet easily because of lack of door.
Not bad location -- in 3-5 minutes walk to bus-stop to airport. Breakfast is included.
Room on the ground floor is highly humid. Also the room have a "nice" garden view and thin walls (noise around is penetrated into the room). WiFi is too slow.
The location, ambiance, helpful staff, bed, quietness were just right. The breakfast was delicious and the cappuccino machine was great. The staff helped us with restaurants and how to use the bus and tram to get where we wanted to go. We could buy our museum tickets and canal cruise tickets at the front desk and saved a little money and a lot of time. Loved this trip.
- clean room - good choice for breakfast - good location
-I'd prefer to have a small bottle of shampoo/shower gel rather than big dispenser on the wall - wifi was ok for the mobile, but slow for the laptop
Great location Good price Comfortable Great Breakfast
Tried calling them just before arrival, couldn't get through for quite some time. Upon walking into reception appeared (but may be wrong?) receptionist was 'hugging' line with a private call...
Really liked the location of the hotel.
They don't provide kettles. And we couldn't borrow one from the reception.
The bed was to small and only one blanket for 2 pers. Not Ok parking infront of htl very expensive before no info, info was 25 eur but no info that that is out of town and they take your car so you need to give key...
Difficult to fault this hotel. Perfect location for the museums and close to a tram stop.
Staff very friendly. Simple but good breakfast.
Bed sheets were slightly wet.
The hotel is in a great location in a nice tree lined street very close to the museum square area. The hotel provides free wifi, and the staff were helpful.
The hotel requires you to pay on arrival. The entrance areas are a little tired in terms of decor, as was the room itself, and it would appear rooms vary quite a bit in terms of quality and appearance. There was a lot of noise heard through the night from upstairs and neighbouring rooms.
The location was wonderful: a few minutes walk from the tram stop, the main museums and the Concert Gebouw. Well-run in a business-like manner. Our room was tiny, considering the price, but this is Amsterdam after all.
Nowhere to hang towels. Space is at a premium here, but you could put hooks on the bathroom door. It could save some unnecessary washing.
No drawers in the room to store clothes. Shower/bathroom did not have an extractor fan and the shower was not very strong.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Great breakfast. Great location. Beautifully restored late 19th century townhouse. Very good transportation nearby; short walk to Rijksmueum, Van Gogh Museum and Concertgebuow..
Room is a little small for 2 people because not much room for luggage and no place to hang coats
Liked being able to buy tickets at the hotel and skip the queues. Liked the location Liked the breakfasts
The STAIRS - very steep and had to take the lift where otherwise I would have used them both up and down.
