Lovely family-run B&B in a great location overlooking the canal. Everything was good about this place, so highly recommended as THE place to stay in Gouda, especially if you're on a budget.

Nothing at all

It is not a hotel, just dirty room in a house bringing some extra income for the owners without any effort from them to clean or even organize.

The hotel was cheap 40€ 1 night with shared facilities...you have a kitchen with everything you need to cook.the location its also good from the train station is 10m walking but then you are near the most important monuments..free wi.fi with good signal..the room was small facing the street but it was quiet and fir the price it was good enough.

Calm and peaceful.

The attic room was so lovely, up in rafters looking down over the canal. Sharing a bathroom was fine. The breakfast, although not included, is excellent and very good value. This place isn't a four star hotel, but it's better! It was a large, lovely, clean, and very comfortable room with bags of charm.

The steps up to the attic room are quite steep, but, we were warned about this beforehand, so we expected it. I wouldn't recommend this room for anyone who had mobility problems are very heavy bags.

good position, very close to the city centre and to the station, spacios room.

Free parking is not an official parking and it is in a very popular neighborhood, anyway we didn't have problems.Breakfast was not everyday good.

The location was great, a 5 minute walk to the square. You pay for what you get, be sure to notice though that the price (unlike most B&Bs) does NOT include breakfast.

We did not get the room we reserved, we reserved the bigger room on the second floor and had to stay in the smaller room down stairs. The house was full and we ran out of toilet paper our first night at 10pm, ran out of coffee in the am, TV didnt work, and were freezing at night (thank god the owner brought us a extra blanket so that me and my aunt didnt have to sleep under the same sheets which we ended up doing anyways because we were cold). The owner was nice but i woiuldnt stay here again

Friendly staff who provide a viable alternative to formal hotels. Cheap lodgings right in the centre of a provincial quiet Dutch town, where one can meet like-minded travellers.

Surprisingly for this time of the year especially, annoying mozzies all through the night...perhaps, a protective mesh wouldn't be amiss.

Sometimes you have to wait the owner to come when you arrived..

It's central location.

Both travellers had their rooms moved. The staff moved their belongings when they weren't in. This is unacceptable.

We loved sitting outside for the very substantial breakfast. The girls who looked after us were very friendly and helpful.

Susan was a gracious host. The room met our needs but is not fancy. Gouda is a lovely quiet town that was a pleasure to get to know. Be aware that breakfast is extra ( 5 euro). The location is excellent to visit other cities and the countryside. Recommended.

Nicely located in the centre of Gouda close to the canals. An added bonus is that it had an adjustable bed (or as Homer Simpson put it "Bed goes up, bed goes down") which was very comfortable. Gouda is a lovely town well worth a visit.

It had a shared bathroom which we had not noticed when making our booking.

In the moment of reservation I've choose price including breakfast. Later I've got a letter from the hotel the breakfast (10 euro) is extra. Not good surprise!

De mogelijkheid om zelf koffie of thee te maken als je daar zin in had. Dat mijn bagage naar boven gebracht werd. Beschuit met muisjes!

De laatste trap was wel erg smal en steil. Dat ik tijdens mijn verblijf moest verhuizen naar een andere kamer in een ander pand was vervelend maar waarschijnlijk veroorzaakt door de consternatie van een geboorte dus wel begrijpelijk.

Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie kamer met heel wat faciliteiten, gratis koffie en thee, een welkomstbord met koekjes, fruit,...

Niks, helemaal niks.

Kamer, ontbijt en keukenfaciliteiten. Op mooie locatie vlakbij het centrum. Attente gastvrouw.

Geen wastafel op kamer, wel gezamenlijke douche, toilet en heel minimaal fonteintje. Doucheruimte was niet schoon.

Il B&B si raggiunge facilmente a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Gouda in 10 minuti a piedi, posto tranquillo in centro

Kamer was heel gezellig en sfeervol ingericht (net een huiskamer). Het ontbijt was zeer lekker en goed! En dat voor maar 5 Euro P.P.!

Badkamer werd gedeeld met andere kamer, deze mensen maakten veelvuldig gebruik hiervan, heel lastig bij toevallige hoge nood.

Die Nähe zur Stadt war sehr, sehr gut! In 3 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Stadtkern!

Parkplatzsituation war eine große Kathastrophe- überall nur Patkplätze gegen Bezahlung ( 15€ Tagespreis) Das Hostel war nicht sauber- überall lagen Dinge der Familie- viel Gerümpel und in allen Ecken waren Dinge untergestellt! Das Bas war nicht sauber- die Toilette wies Benutzungsspuren auf! Die Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte nicht!
