we liked meny meny things. the rooms were spacius and comferteble and very very privet. the staff was friendly but not intrusive. the position of the hotel is superb. the checking in and out houres did not fit our schedual. |

For the money I paid I got the best there is I suppose. I stayed at the single room with a toilet/shower & really enjoyed it, there was a room service as well & buffet breakfast were decent (8-10am). I may stay at the same place again when visiting Amsterdam (also extremely good position of the hotel, just in front of the tram stop no.1 - straight from the Central Station, nearby to wonderful big park - Vondelpark and De Pijp quarter with lots of cheaper restaurants to go - anything else - walking distance). Recommended! Not really, no, thou I guess I was lucky, because my room had a window facing the inner courtyard not the busy street & also was on the first floor, so I didn't have to drag my luggage to much (be prepared for 'the stairs' in Amsterdam). |

The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable as well, and you can't beat the location-- a 5 minute walk to Leidseplein The drainage in the bathroom was very bad, we ended up with a flood every day |

We enjoyed this hotel and we stayed here with our 2 dogs. Very good location, near Vondelpark, supermarket and the hotel was within walking distance of the heart of amsterdam. Breakfast was basic but good. Excellent value for money and we will stay here again. We parked at the Olympisch stadium (P+R). Near, safe and cheap parking. The stairs if you have heavy luggage. |

These folks are really the best. I could park my bicycle up onto their back porch off the street [because I'm paranoid leaving bicycle on street on vacation] Breakfast is always tops because everyone likes to eat it in morning. Overtoom makes this place magical. It's a straight shot to Schiphol Airport from Hotel Abba on bicycle and <1hour. |

The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but sufficient and added to the value of staying there. The location while outside of centrum was convenient to Vondel Park, Leidesplein and Museumsplien and was also severed by two tram stops and three tram lines for access to anywhere in the city. There was honestly nothing about the Abba that I did not like but I would suggest that the availability of wireless internet access would further increase the value they offer. Also a safe in the room would be a slight improvement, however the safe deposit boxes in the reception area with 24 hour access that they have make this unnecessary. |

Good breakfast, mostly friendly staff. The beds were comfy and the view from the room was enjoyable (court yard view) 68 stairs from the ground floor to our room. |

Centrel location, streetcar directly in front of the hotel, supermarket on ground floor of the building, own key. Practically no room cleaning, although towels were changed if You happened to be in Your room at this particular time. |

Hotel was within walking distance of the heart of amsterdam. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. Excellent value for money. Will stay there again. The stairs are steep! (But I appreciated the exercise!) |

I really enjoyed this hotel, they have a very friendly staff, great views from our rooms, the breakfast room was really nice and plenty of coffee, toasts and other things to eat. I really recommend it, we'll go back there next year! the stairs were quite narrowed but we are young and it's worthwhile to get to your room and enjoy the views. |
