Nice breakfast. Excellent central heating. The staff was really helpful. They are always ready to help you. The hotel is well connected with everywhere. When you just take Tram 1 and take the next stop after Leidseplein, you even don't have to move your head; you see the hotel as soon as you get out of the tram. Most importantly, it is a secure place indeed !!! |

Don't expect it be a five star hotel however it's good value for money. It would people going with friends but I won't recommend it for families. Even though the wireless internet is available and you have to buy it (5 hours for 10 Euros) but staff don't mention it (don't know why?) I only came to know about it the day I was leaving. |

Nice location, good breakfast. Cheap hotel for the short stay. Very small room with thin walls - you are listerning your neigbors even you don't want to. Wind/draught at shower, The room door slams every time you go out from your room (shower or toilet) so you need to take your keys everywere, but I understand that it is for safety... |

The staff was helpful, the breakfast was generous, and the location works well with a tram pass. Plus there's a grocery store below the hotel so you can pick up stuff easily for picnics. |

Easy ro reach. Tram 1 from Central Station. Walking distance (5-10 min) to Leidse Plein (lots of restaurants) and to the art Museums (7-12 min.) Polite, helpful staff. OK breakfast. Inexpensive. Heavy smell of old smoke in the room. Steep stairs. Not for the walking impaired, or the weak old lady with a heavy suitcase. |

Location Thought I was getting non-smoking room, but didn't. Room was very musty/smokey. Light in shower went out last day, shower in floor below had shower curtain that stank. |

The continental breakfast was First Class. All staff were friendly and eager to help in whatever way they could. It is within walking distance of all the major sites in Amsterdam. This hotel is a great bang for the buck. The steps are very narrow :-). Other than that nothing really negative about the place. |

You can take Tram No. 1 going from Centraal Station and the stop in very close to the hotel. Easy to access to other places. |

Pretty cheap. Security was impressive. Reception guy was a bit rude. Wasn't really a hotel, more like a hostel. The picture in the room was ugly. |

We liked the location and the friendly staff, and it was a reasonable price (for Amsterdam). The room at the back was quiet, a good size, and had a balcony which we could sit out on with a drink in the evening. Security, whilst not a problem for us, could be an issue given the number of times we found the door giving access to the street was left unlocked without supervision. |
