Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater.

Very correct and friendly receptionists.
Nothing wrong at all!
Very comfortable bed, all very clean & tidy. Location is excellent for a quiet stay.
Room a little small but we would still stay again :-)
I liked the second room I switched to.
I didn't like the poor wifii, shower or heat in my first room. But the staff took care of me after the 1st night.
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good wine gums in reception.
Not very comfy bed, grubby (though clean) pillows etc. Poor choice of bed pillows. Road outside dug up and workers started early! Water turned off for a whole day with only short warning.
I felt very comfortable staying here on my own - the staff were great, suggesting cafes etc. I would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others.
Location Friendly/Helpful Reception Staff
Small Rooms (very little room to move within the room) Walls Were Worn (due to scuff marks from people moving their luggage in the tight hallways and rooms) Thin Walls (We could hear every hotel guest come in after hours and their conversations once they were in the room. Normally this isn't a big deal however when guests are coming in at 5am-6am it can be a bit frustrating.)
The room was clean, staff was helpful.
Room was small
We stayed at the Linden Hotel for 3 nights over New Year. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and had a nice bathroom with big walk in shower. Area was very nice with nice bars and restaurants close by. Great location as it was quiet enough at night, but very close to main tourist spots (5-10 minute walk from Anne Frank House, 15-20 minute walk to Dam Square/city centre). Overall had a lovely stay at the Linden Hotel and would recommend.
We stayed in one of the standard rooms, which was very nice, but quite small - maybe upgrade to one of the superior rooms if you prefer extra space! Also, it was quite expensive, however that is probably more to do with the time of year we travelled.
The location was perfect, lovely and quiet, away from the madness, but only a 20 minute walk from the main tourist attractions. Very helpful staff, gorgeous shower (more of a wet room, and room for two!), most powerful hair dryer I've used in a hotel (anyone from uk will know how awful and weak hotel hair dryers can be!). Free wifi was excellent. Super soft bed. Didn't sample the breakfast as we had other plans. But I loved every minute of our stay and when we return to Amsterdam, we will definitely return to the Linden Hotel!
Was really comfy and just what we needed
Nothing really maybe bit of a walk from centre but nothing bad
What was my first time in Amsterdam and i have to say this hotel was the best part of my Holidays there. The beds where the most confort I've ever sleeped in and the room was small and very Clean and nice. The Toilett where small and nice (clean too) and the dore had to be opened by a NFC (contactless Card). It looks very nice from the inside and the location is awsome. 15min by feet to te central of Amsterdam or easy connected by Tram. I loved the hotel and I will surely come there again. The only bad thing was the Lift (it takes soo long to get up or down) but who really cares about a lift at holydays? For my opinion the most perfect Hotel you can get for such Price Positive: + every day cleaned + best beds you will ever use + shampoo, soap, body lotion and much more where included + nice location + nice rooms (not very big but enough space for 2 (still perfect) I habe to say its a perfect hotel for my opinion!!!
i like very much the design of the hotel and the location
This Hotel was a great find. A real gem. Hotel staff could not be more helpful, whether making dinner suggestions and reservations to drawing information on map. There was a fantastic market on Hotel doorstep on Saturday. Hotel was lovely and quiet, quirky and absolutely fantastic. I highly would recommend. We stayed in room 34 which had great views.
Breakfast didn't look too appealing so we ate at Picnic instead, although we did not have breakfast at Hotel, we would not put anyone off trying it.
quiet comfortable great location staff friendly
room and facilities friendly helpful staff
was lovely & clean, very nice helpful staff, good location but main squares are a bit of a walk but tram & bus stations 2 minute walk from hotel.
Hotel was spotless and staff friendly.
Was a bit out of centre but overall the hotel and staff were great, I would stay here again and definitely recommend to others.
The hotel was generally fine, well managed, good breakfast, walking distance of centre. Would stay again (in the right room !)
We booked a "superior" room - area 19sqm. But the room that we were given was smaller - maybe 14sqm, and scarcely bigger than their tiny "standard" rooms. Management said this reflects the configuration of the building, and not all rooms the same size; they agreed a discount. This applies to rooms 25, 35, 45.
Location and kindness of the staff.
Perfect location, on Saturday you find market just in the front of the hotel. Small but very comfortable room. Making tea facilities.
Fabulously helpful staff! Brilliant little hotel, wonderful location, squeaky clean, cozy and comfortable, will return and recommend!
Helpful staff. Room clean. Plenty of restaurants /pubs nearby if you need them.
Situated a bit off centre for main sights and museums ( 25 minutes walk from station) but OK when I mastered the bus and tram routes. Lift didn't go to top floor and was very very slow.
Location staff friendliness
The room is very small. Lift is extremely slow (hydraulic lift) Stairs are too small and tiny The curtains are transparent. One person who is doing everything in the hotel ! No staff Poor breakfast
Nice clean hotel good staff tea making facility's and good bathroom small in size but very comfortable
Too far away from dam square even though it's like a maze there anyway and the walkin is fun but thort it was pretty much in the red strip when I saw advertised
the staff was helpful quite and safe neighborhood other customers were also quiet close to the tram station
rooms are a bit tiny shower toilet seat combination ( shower head and the toilet seat being too close to each other) wouldn't recommend a room on ground floor
