Tulip Inn Amsterdam Riverside

Personalet i såvel reception,restaurant som rengøring, var utroligt imødekommende, serviceminded og altid smilende og venlige. Rigtig god og varieret morgenmad. Vi blev først booket på et værelse mod vejen (lige over indgangen), hvilket ikke var så rart, p.g.a. støj fra vejen, larm og uro fra gæster der gik ind og ud, rygere der opholdt sig lige under vores vindue. Men bruseren på værelset var i stykker, hvorfor vi omgående (og med et smil) blev flyttet til et andet værelse, som lå "on the riverside" - og det var en helt anden snak, dejlig udsigt, lille balkon og ikke mindst kun svag trafikstøj om natten.

Værelserne var meget tætte og varme, så A/C på værelserne mod vejen, ville være rigtigt godt. 1-grebsbatterier med keramiske pakninger, termostatbruser med slange/håndbruser, burde være standard på alle moderne hoteller.

beliggenhed uden for Amsterdam men tæt på metro så ikke noget problem at komme ind til byen. Glimrende morgenmad

Rent og en udmærket restaurant

Udmærket hotel til prisen. Der bør principielt gøres opmærksom på turist-tax for Amsterdam som tillægges vær.prisen.

Betjeningen i Brasseriet var ikke særlig god - maden rimelig men burde være bedre i forhold til hotellets standard.

The Room was large and clean! Very quiet. Staff was nice. There was no problem with the free parking plenty available. Easy 10 min walk to the metro! About 20 min train ride to Central Station Amsterdam and Pet Friendly!!!!

Shower was ok but there was no shower head. No wash cloths, just towels. No coffee or tea service in the room. The hotel is very nice but on the older side, needs to have a face lift. I didn't eat at the restaurant because I felt it was a bit too expensive.

our room gave out on the smoker's corner outside the hotel and therefor was quite noisy

It was very conveniently located. In less than 20 min. we were downtown Amsterdam. It is a 10 min. walk to the Metro, which brings you directly to Central Station. You can also leave your car at the Metro at no parking cost.

The hotel was comfortable and it was just about 10 minutes on foot to the nearest underground station. The room and the bathroom were large and modern.

The obsolete type of shower and the shower head and the fact that hairdryers were only available at the reception desk and it was necessary to pay a deposit for borrowing them.

The hotel-room was very commodious. There were enough parking possibilities for the cars.

the bath-romm was very poorly furnished. There were no towel rails or towel rack. The condition of the bath-room dorr pull was definitely insufficient. On the side of the bath tube was rudimental mould. In one of our booked room, the window in the hotel-room could opened only a few centimetre, and in the other booked room it was not possible to open the window (technical defect). In spite of giving information to the stuff, the reported problem was not solved.

Close proximity to the town of Wesp - which is a nice place to visit on the river. The hotel is 10 minutes brisk walk to the local metro station which is at the end of the 53 line, 13 stops from Amsterdam central. Car parking is free and the trains stop running at 23 hours.

I might be easy for locals but for a tourist the hotel was impossible to find with just a road map - there is a need by Tulip Hotels to clearly identify directions, and the motorway turn off to be taken within the booking confirmation. We got fed up with driving around the ring road then stopping to ask taxi drivers how to find the hotel – some of who did not know!
