Very large and comfortable apartment The staff told us that he would be diving the payment into two of our credit cards as we were staying as two families. However he did not and he did not inform about it and we could ony learn that after we came back to our country. Why is it a difficulty to charge the same amount to two cards insteaf of one? We gave all of our card information properly and he said he could do that.. |

The location was okay, and the aprtment was in a quiet zoen , all's good. Well yeah in the e-mails they give me another adress and the apartement was on other street. |

Nothing. I felt I was misled and ripped off. It wasnt an apartment. It was an old shop. We couldnt open the blinds ever as it was a goldfish bowl. Ther were no windows that could be opened. It was stifling. The extractor was noisy and couldnt be switched off. Ther was no extractor in the toilet which was adjacent to the cooker. The lights were covered in dust. The toilet light was hanging on exposed wires. The bedding had holes in it. It was like a very basic prison cell.there was no balcony. |

Brilliant location , helpful staff, this is an apartment and you could be in any of the 20 odd the company runs , the appartment is allocated at the last minute so you don't know exactly where you will be staying till then , our apartment was excellent and very central , recommended. Half of the bulbs in the lamps were blown but didn't really bother us too much , some may find annoying. |

The flat we stayed at was relatively in a quite location albiet it was not central. Taxi ride cost Euro 10 to Liedsplien or Centraal Station. Hardly central while it's claimed in the website all flats are in central amsterdam I had trouble been united with the apartment as their website asks to call them from Centraal Station and when i did it took 3 hrs to reach the apartment due to poor directions. They should confirm the address of the flat to the customer once booked straightaway and not wait until customers arrive in town and call for directions. I was charged Euro 50 through an unathorised debit on claim that we left the flat "exteremly Dirty" after 4 days stay while all we left behind was the Rubbish well intact in blastic bags and placed all the dirty dishes and cups in the dishwasher! During the 4 days no cleaner came or Rubbish collection was carried out. The internet connection is a LAN one and very awkward if you are more than one person. |

The apartment was located in a nice and quiet zone, although different from what was stated on the website. All the forniture was new and the room was clean. We chose the apartment also because it was said to have wi-fi internet, but when we arrived the connection was not working. The staff said it would be repaired the next day, but that wasn't done. Even if we insisted a lot, it was not possible to have the internet connection working for our whole stay. Also, during summer the apartment was very hot and there was just a small window to let in some fresh air. The check-in system is not very clear and also time-consuming for no reason. |

Owner of apartment was so nice to return the balance of money paid when we decided to shorten our stay from 5 days to 3 days. Proposed apartments are located in different locations of Amesterdam while this issue has not been specified in site and cancellation was subjectto 20% penalty. They propsed to picked up in Schiphol Airport, but they denied without notice. Apartment was not safe and clean and in red light district and not recommended at all. |

It was really cool to have your own apartment in downtown Amsterdam. The location was perfect. The shower didn't work, so the bathtub was the only option. No problem for me, but my wife didn't care for that. |

The small distance to the town centre and that you are within range to every bit of Amsterdam city. The next door neighbour. A coffee shop with a terrible smell, but hey? What can you expect in Amsterdam? |

The accommodations were apparently brand-new, clean, sleek and comfortable. Great location, we were able to walk to various sites easily. The pigeons in the light well and the neighbors upstairs were too noisy. |

Great apartment, nicely furnished, excellent view of the canal, close to the city centre, walking distance to anywhere, but far enough from the craziness of the read light district. Excellent position in the proximity (maybe to close) of countless patios where you can enjoy good food and some drinks. You don't really know the location of your apartment until you call from the tram station, when someone takes you to the available appartment. Despite the great location of the appartment, there was a lot of noise from the downstairs restaurants until 1am. Nothing you cannnot deal with if you have earplugs... |

Close to city centre, amazing view of the canal and very relaxing. Perfect for a couple. A few amenities such as the internet and laundry were not working at the start but the staff fixed the problem eventually. |

Good location, nice area, good bars very close and a great pizza take away a couple of streets away. Very steep stairs up the three flights to the apartment |

The apartment we had was in an ideal area in the Jordaan, quiet and in a residential area. We stayed in a one bedroom flat that was an adequate size. The phone number provided was incorrect and we waited for over an hour for somebody to turn up. The lights in the dining area didn't work, crockery was dirty, the radio also didn't work, the bathroom was missing a shower curtain and a hair drier. For these reasons, we initially were quite disappointed in flat. |

The location is very good. The description of the appartment is not according to the reality. We were supposed to have two bedrooms with two bathrooms. We got one bathroom with the toilets inside... |

We arrived early and managed to get into the apartment before the 2pm time whcih was nice. The location was very central as promised When we arrived the bath had been broken by the 'people before we'd arrived' or so we were told. If true I appreciate they couldnt do much about that but neverless wasnt ideal. We also booked these apartments as we wanted to smoke and confirmed with Home and Away after the booking via email that smoking was allowed. |

The apartment was huge, clean, in an excellent location and equipped with everything we could have needed. I couldn't recommend Home & Away Apartments enough and can't wait to return to Amsterdam and stay with them again. |
