Hotel staff were very friendly. we liked snacks that we can find every hour in the lobby. We went there on easter so we had lots of free egg chocolate and painted eggs ;) Our room was very clean and we woke up with bird tweets every morning.. also location was very close to Rembrantplein. nothing but maybe for old people stairs would be hard to climb up.

This hotel was everything you could ask for, for a long week-end in Amsterdam. The owner was very kind and spoke many languages (english, german, france), room was clean and comfy and the location was perfect to see Amsterdam on foot. Also, there was a small diningroom, where you could make yourself 24h hot drinks and snacks. We were very pleased with our stay! Thanks again!

Loved this place! Staff helpful and very friendly. Great location, clean & warm.Spacious rooms. Open kitchen with free snacks available 24 hours.Comfy dining area. Highly reccomended. Book early to avoid disappointment. Free WIFI Access. 10/10. One word of warning: Only use the registered Taxis from the airport. We were guided to a taxi with no plate and charged double fare to city centre. Stand at Offical Taxi rank and dont be persuaded to another car !!

Hotel Adolesce is very well located in Amsterdam. It is close to trams, canals, the city centre and many resatuarnts as well as the famouse night life of Amsterdam. Tha host was amazing. Nothing was a problem and he was most hospitable - even having a late night drink with us on our ;last night in Amsterdam. The room as enormous, There was food available as part pf the tariff 24/7. The staircase was steep but that seems very European and let's face it, we take our cases up and dwon each way once only! We would not heaitate to recommend it as very good value for money.

The hotel was in a great location. A quiet canal, but still close enough to transportation and the busier stuff. Was nice to get away from everything while still being close by. The owner was as friendly as any I have encountered. Made everyone feel welcome. The room we had was amazing. Fairly simple in furnishings, but roomy and wall to wall windows with a view overlooking the canal. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Nothing much that I can think of. I loved the steep stairs at the entry to access the rooms, but for some not accustomed to how Amsterdam will be if you are visiting the way many live, it may be a bit daunting.

We were given a room on a lower floor than we had been booked into which was a great relief as the stairs were very steep! (Which I believe is the norm in Amsterdam). The room was really big and also had a balcony, it was lovely to have some room after the tiny rooms in London. The lounge area downstairs was nice to relax and the help-yourself array of snacks and tea/coffee was excellent.

-24Hour breakfast buffet!! -Clean, polite staff -Nice location and price -Ok, there are the steep stairs, but is not a big deal. If you have really enormous and a big number of luggage then request to get a room in the ground floor

We arrived to Hotel Adolesce for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! the location is graet, the owner is kind and welcoming, the room is much more spacious than we would have ever thought. I didn't know what to expect regarding towels, sheets soaps etc so i took some with me, it was a very pleasant surprise to find all of these at the room as we arrived. Toilet and bathroom are nice and clean, better then they look in the pictures. The 24h buffet is briliant!!! so convenient for tourists who runs around the city all day and night... Cute sitting area in the room, as well as a closet, mirrors, big comfortable bed, and lots of pillows. WIFI signal is not so strong in the room but is good downstairs and the is a guests computer avilable as well The Adolesce exceeded my expectations and had a crucial part in the success of our vacation. very, very recomended! The stairs are insane!!! BUT, if you're young and healthy - you will survive. otherwise.. i'm not so sure..

The location is good. It takes only 10 minutes walk to the popular tourist area. The room is reasonably spacious. The price is acceptable. The room and facilities are a bit dated. The layout of the room is not desirable. Quite inconvenient to pop between the separated toilet and shower booth and wash basin. I can live with not having hot plates for breakfast, but the hotel should at least provide a toaster.

Real Dutch style, simple hotel with no big luxury, but cosy and clean, relatively large rooms, excellent shower (strong water flow) friendly no-nonsense owner who informs and gives advice willingly very well located, near center and public transport, but still quiet environment the breakfast formula is good (no extensive choice but everything one needs) the long haired house cats are absolutely adorable I would definitely choose the hotel again As said by other visitors, small staircase and steep stairs, but that is no problem for normally mobile people our room was more then large enough for 3, but the shower might be a little small for large people (which was no problem for us) you easily hear movements and voices in other rooms, but apparently the other visitors were not noisy, we didn't hear them for very long, maybe because we fell asleep fast after a long day walking :-)
