The Albus Grand hotel is a first class hotel in the bustling city centre of Amsterdam. Come inside and experience the unique atmosphere.
The 74 spacious and comfortable rooms are subdivided in standard and de-luxe rooms. The contemporary styled rooms with private facilities contain hair dryer, television with in-house movie channels, direct dial telephone, desk and internet connection.
The deluxe rooms offer extra; coffee- and tea making facilities, trouser press, rain forest shower, trendy interior and high speed internet connection (laptop, VPn Supported) all included in the room rate. Futhermore guests are offered an extended check-out untill 14.00hr.
The hotels restaurant "Get toGether" is open from early morning till late evening for meals, snacks and drinks. "Get toGether" is the perfect place to meet in an informal surrounding with friends and business associates.
The location is within walking distance of sights such as Rembrandt square and Dam square, restaurants, bars and terraces.

I liked a lot the fact that the room was very big and clean and the hotel is central situated.

I don't know if it is about the hotel or booking.com, but when I first made the reservation, breakfast was included and after I confirmed the reservation (2 minutes later) the breakfast was excluded...

The lobby and restaurant. Good location.

Rooms are overpriced for what they are and are extremely basic and could do with some airing out. The staff could do with some training on dealing with the public, a selection of staff on the desk were by no means polite, smiling doesnt crack anyones face.

it is a nice hotel does what it says.

Lack of air conditioning, which I was aware about. Towel sizes, not big enough for a person.

Location is good, close to everything. About 25 minute walk from the central station.

Taking a shower was slow as the shower head had water coming out only from the outer ring, nothing from the center (no holes).

I liked the size of the room and bathroom. I also liked the location of the Hotel, it was in very close proximity to everywhere I wanted to go.

Able to check in early

Poor service received shower didnt work properly reported problem and waited for over an hour no one came to sort out. Had to go out without having a shower. Mentioned problem again when leaving to Reception staff and was advised by a very brusk lady that it would be dealt with when we were out!!!

The central location made getting around town a breeze. The great fruit stand across the street didn't hurt.

The maid service was poor and reception was slow at best to produce any necessities such as towels and toilet paper. That's right, after our maid "cleaned " our room we were left without towels or toilet paper for hours. No A/C.....

quiet, clean, comfortable. great location: easy access via tram, and close to floating flowers and Rembrandt Plein.
