The Hotel was very comfortable, in a good location and easy to get to museums and shopping--canal boat rides are an easy access also. It was very clean and the help was excellant. A very good welection at breakfast. The help was so helpful to us with our luggage also, and friendly. We would stay here the next time we are in Amsterdam |

The hotel location is excellent and we could easily walk to almost all the sights we wanted to visit. In addition, the hotel staff were very helpful. |

The hotel was quite cozy and warm, right at the edge of the very center of Amsterdam. The feeling was rather great, although the room and bathroom were tiny. Anyway, you could not expect larger room in a central building in Amsterdam. They are all the same. Breakfast was fair enough although it was served into the lounge, right next to the reception desk. Parking is available into the street where city parking fees apply. Imagine that the parking fee per day for one car was the same as the nightly rate for double room per person. TIP: Ask the staff for a cheaper parking lot. They might recommend you Olympisch Stadion (no 44) which is 4 km away but is only 6 EUR/day |

The best thing about Hotel Alexander is definitely it's central location near Leidseplein. The staff is nice and willing to help you with everything. Our room was quite small and modest, but that's fine, since we preferred good location instead of high class - afterall, we did stay in the room only to sleep. Noise from the corridor could be heard very clearly, but luckily we had quiet nieghbours. |

Was in a convinience place, close to everything very nice room the breakfast was alright. Very warm welcome for the staff. Was very good for the money we paid.I would recommend it What I didnt like it was the directions how to get there from the airport. Is another very easy way . Just go out side the airport and get the bus number 197 or 370 to leidseplein stop. After that look to the sky to your right side to try to find the Marriot hotel because the alexander hotel is on the same street. |

- Close to the main Museums and to the tram station. - Room is clean, quiet. - People drinking beers in the hall almost every evening give a very bad atmosphere. - The taxi driver ordered by the hotle wasn't a real taxi driver and was rather strange too |

Clean room, comfy bed, nice shower Being expected to pay when we checked in, as it was exta for a credit card and we did not have any cash this was a probelm. Eventually they let us pay the next day. The walls were thin so we could hear next door. No do not enter/do enter card for the door. This would also help the cleaner. |

Near the center, quiet area, 24 hour reception desk, friendly staff, willing to help with shuttle reservations and informations about the city. I slept in a single room, which was not too big, but for my purposes and budget more than enough, with large bed inside. Very good. Maybe is time to replace the towels, which were clean, but worn a bit. |

Location No walking space between the bed and desk. There was barely room to turn around. I was, however, pleased with the size of the bed. Next time maybe a double room? |

The breakfast was fair enough and the location is a walking distance from the center. We had 2 very small (claustrfobic) rooms in the top flor not served by the elevator. The front desk gentlemen was not very helpfull. To park the car was a difficult action. |
