I have been to this hotel twice now and I have to say, I would never stay anywhere else now, I recommend it to everyone. It's within walking distance to all the main attractions. It's clean, it's quiet at night time, the staff are so lovely and helpful. And make you feel so welcome. The rooms are great and have a fridge for your drinks, a hairdryer, and plenty of space for your clothes. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels replaced everyday. I have nothing bad to say. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel, and I will definatly be returning here!

The Hotel Alexander is located near the museums and restaurants. It offers the convenience and quietness at same time. The place is clean and the staff there are very warm, friendly and helpful.

I found the staff very accommodating and friendly. From the start they helped with helping me find my way around the city. The bed was very comfortable with a white duvet, soft mattress top and super pillows. The breakfast was very good and offered a healthy start which could carry me for hours. 10 Euros per day. I was encouraged to settle my bill with cash but instead paid the 4% to cover their cost of using my credit card. I feel that businesses should have these costs built into their prices or perhaps meet their customers half way. Other businesses in town charged to use credit cards meaning lots of cash is required. I pay $5.00 every time I use a cash machine internationally.

Location. Rooms were a bit worn out and cold. Also the cleaning service was from 11am to 16pm I had to wait for my room to be cleaned every day. My bed linens were never changed during my 4 day stay.

The staff is extremelly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good also. The location is great, in a very calm and beautiful street, but close to the main museums. The use of the Internet is a must nowadays and the hotels should be prepared to offer the service free of charge. The room we stayed (called "small room") is really really small.

The staff on arrival are very polite, very helpful and welcoming. We found the location of the hotel brilliant, and in the perfect spot. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean. If anything, the rooms are small but we did expect this, the first room we had had a brick wall view out of the window, but they moved us to a street view room without any problems the next day.

Hotel staff was really excellent. "Home" feeling. We were in small double room. The room is small as it called, but really enougth for couple. There is small double bed, but really really comfortable! Defently will advice this hotel to my friends. Location excellent, close to everything besides red lights district :) (near Leidseplein) Breakfast fresh and good. everything Nice++ nothing. everything just fine!

The staff was amazing. They were there for any questions we had and were more than willing to help us out. The rooms were nice and comfortable, satellite TV, the heating worked very well, and the location was perfect. No complaints, would definitely come back again.

The Hotel room was clean and well presented. The staff were very helpful I had a single room that was small and compact so not much room to move arround or put your bags anywhere.

The staff was really great. It was a really welcoming atmosphere and they did everything to accomodate me. The room was really small, but the bed was comfy and the shower was big enough and had plenty of hot water!
