The hotel is located in a nice neigborhood. It was nice not to be in the middle of the red light district. Room was spacious and bathroom ok. Noisy in the evenings and mornings. Staff was always smiling but once we checked out, they told us they could only keep our luggage until 13:00. Ridiculous!!! First hotel in my life where you can not leave your luggage until the evening, very incovinient if you have a late flight. |

The room was clean and in a great location. Fun neighborhood and very easy access to the Central part of town. I love that the tram from the Central Station stopped right in front of the building and right outside the door there was an ATM. Very convenient. The elevator was incredibly small and a little "wobbly" at times. There was also a very distinct "sewer" smell at times in the building, but the city is on a series of canals so that is to be expected. |

The bathroom was clean and new. Smelling pot inside the room. Terrible value for money. Not worth more than 50 Euros per night. |

I very much appreciated the location of the hotel, just in front of the tram stop and the kindness of the staff. The room was a bit small. |

Good location, handy to reach the centre of Amsterdam by feet and quiet, since it's almost neighbouring the Hortus Botanicus. Staff very very friendly. Facilities for breakfast within 10 minutes walking towards the centre. Although it's very comfortable and clean I found it overprized, a double room at 120 euros per night in a 3 star it's too much. |

The room was really small, and in the 4th floor. The bathroom was really minimal. You did not have space to get dressed inside the bathroom. TV with only two english channels and all neather. Good bar in front of hotel for breakfast and good and cheap pizzas in the corner |

The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is located in a lovely green residential area which bares, restaurants and parks around. Also it is 8 minutes walking to Waterlooplein and 15 minutes to the city centre. Room was very clean. Room has a very limited size (but is still ok if travelling with friends or if you are a young - and not to tough to please - couple). The lampshade was shaking and making such an annoying noise every time the upstairs neighbors got walking around his room. I haven't done it but I think it would be possible to find best "value for money" options around Amsterdam if booked to be honest. |

1. Tiny attic room so could not stand up straight to have a shower as the bathroom was located under the sloped attic roof. 2. Extremely overpriced - paid 133.75 per night for a below average hotel. 3. Stains on sheets. 4. Towels worn out with long black hairs mixed in them. 5. Long walk to main city streets. |

The hotel location is not far from the city centre (5 min per tramway). The bed was old but acceptable. Our room was not to the tramway side. The room was under the roof and very small (7m2 with a normal ceiling height). The bathroom was more than tiny. The shutters and 3 lamps were broken. The room was not too well isolated from neighbours' noise. |

I enjoyed the room design, the quiet neighborhood and the fact that it is really close to the city center; the beds are really soft and comfortable. |

Perfectly fine room. Convenient for trams into the centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bar/cafe across the road. Pity Scotland can't play football! |

The hotel is nicely situated right outside of the main bustle of Amsterdam yet it is so close that you really wont even notice the walk. Plus along the walk from the center to Alfa Plantage you will cross several awesome coffee shops, bars and yes even the "district". Honestly the only thing that was bad was they didn't put extra toilet paper in the bathroom so after the 4th day I had to go ask for my own but other than that all was good. |

The hotel located in a peaceful area very close to the center. The rooms located at the back side of the hotel are very tiny. The bath has not any kind of ventilation and for the shower-"door" there was a water leak, making the floor a small indoor lake. |

Convenient location, very quiet - trams to Rembrandtplein/Dam/Centraal are right by the door, otherwise a short walk south will take you to the tram lines that travel parallel to Stadhouderskade toward Leidseplein. The room was small but comfortable, we didn't spend much time in the hotel so it made little difference to our experience... if you're after luxury this isn't the hotel for you... It doesn't come with any breakfast but there's a cafe across the road, some what pricey - I'd recommend you make the short trip to places like Leidseplein or Rembrandtplein via tram instead for a cheaper and wider selection of food. |

The hotel is located right outside a tram stop which makes getting around really easy. Staff were very helpful and watched our bags on the final day as we had a late flight. Rooms very were warm and the shower was excellent. Also, there was a small Dutch cafe which served breakfast at a very reasonable price. The bottom half of the sign was in black with black writing - this does not help people locate it especially when arriving at night. |
