I like breakfast and welcoming drink, helpful staff and easy for trams and to get around.

The stairs to your room, we made a laugh about them. Wouldn't be good for over sized people or the elderly.

Loved this hotel! We had very nice romantic room and a very good and tasty breakfast. Service was personal and very friendly. Warm drinks and fruits at reception. The hotel was located very well. I would definetely recommend this hotel for a couples who want romantic getaway and personal touch to their vacation.

Had a nice room with a balcony at back of hotel. Worth paying extra for, rooms without balcony very small and I mean prison cell small! Tram into town stops right outside. Garden at rear nice to have breakfast in. Only continental. Nice little hotel.

Stairs are very steep and no lift so prepare for a mountain climb if your room is on a higher floor. Seems all Amsterdam has similar steep stairs though.

Amazing room! very big comfortable bed, great bathroom, outstanding breakfast

the smallest hardest stairs iv ever had to get up and down. no chance of getting out bags up. Tiny air con. properly best to stay if you have a small bag

The staff are helpful. Tram stop is right outside, that can take you to the dam square in 10 min. , or the other direction to the museums, also in 10 minutes. A supermarket is just cross the street. The garden view room is very quiet.

    The steep staircase.

Amazing staff very cheerful and helpful always smiling Free coffee and fruits 24/7 Great breakfast

It's a bit far from the centre We got the room in the fourth floor and it's a real journey to go up with luggage or when you're high... The price is a bit high, like a price of a real hotel, but the place feels more like a guesthouse

Comfortably located to tram 13 to the Central Station, 12 to the Museum quater and 14 to Rembrandt quater. I will recommend travelling light due to the steep stairs - great way to stretch after a day of sightseeng. Breakfast is very good. Free fruits and coffee during the day, and water made it so much more civilised experience! I will recommend paying extra to get a room at the back if you want not hear the trams, and get a balcony and jacuzzi bath!

Breakfasts are exellent. Free fruit ,tea and coffee at the reception is a good idea The supermarket and the tram stop are very close. The staff is very welcoming. Free Internet Pleasant music and nice candles during the breakfast The safe in the room

There is no noise insulation and the screech of the passing trams doesn't alow to sleep. The room is too small. The Internet is TOO slow There is neither fridge nor wardrobe. No lift. No air conditioning There is no instruction how to use the safe

Good value for money, breakfast was included and although in a small area varied and well presented with nice coffee. Free welcome drink

Evening staff unsure what breakfast comprised of as 'didnt work mornings'. 3 flights of narrow stairs, not good for families with small children.

one of the best hotels you can stay in Amsterdam. very good location. tram 13 and 14 to the center. easy access to city. clean and comfortable beds. one of the best breakfast you can have in European hotels as well.

the narrow stairs (as nearly every hotel in Amsterdam) no other things.

close to transport, walking distance from the old city center, the museums and entertainment districts. Hotel staff were helpful and gave us a drink on arrival, and there was a great breakfast

room was very small and there was no elevator which made lugging the bags up difficult particularly because we were on the 3rd floor.

Really good location and tram connections. Very good breakfast, and free access to fruits and hot beverages. We had a room for 3 (2nd floor) with a balcony facing the back side, which was nice and calm (no noise there), although with 3 beds, turned out to be on the very small side (no place for all the luggages, for ex). Beds were comfortable though.

Small rooms, tiny bathroom, the famous stairs (even if the lack of a lift is well noted, the narrow stairs are still an unhappy surprise), the staff not so welcoming.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable.

There was a lot of noise from the street at night. (We had to leave the window open as it was mid summer and hot in the room) Not really complaining as it is to be expected in the middle of a city

What a great hotel to stay at on our last week of six weeks away in Europe! The staff made us very welcome explaining the sights to see, transport, and even giving us a printout of places to eat at close by ( Moeders for Dutch food was excellent and Fuoca Vivo for Italian was aslo very good) All this done over a complimentary drink!! Our room was spatious and quiet as we had requested a back room looking out to the garden from our own little balcony. The room was cleaned every day with a chocilate and apple left on the pillow. Breakfast was excellent with cereal, yoghurt, fruit salad, cheese and meat with tomato and boiled eggs. There was a toaster with selection of breads. There was a machine which could be used all day for hot drinks and drinks to buy ( alcoholic and non). Across the street was a supermarket and tram stop .Easy to get to from the number 14 tram pay the driver for Briinelvest stop. Then get from the hotel a transport ticket!!

Nothing as was value for money and so very comfortable.Watch out for bikes as we had never experienced that they have right of way !!!.
