spacious room, perfect service, nice decoration like fake luxury, good central location room was almost under the ground, on basement floor with small windows looking out at pedestrians feet... too expensive |

A very comfortable hotel in a good location - the senior suite was a bit smaller than we expected but well equipped. It was very hot whilst we were there - the air conditioning could have been more efficient! |

Room was spacious and clean. Good amenities. Excellent service. Great location - easy to explore the city, without being in a noisy rowdy neighborhood. |

This was a great hotel. The staff was fantastic, the hotel was attractive and the room was great. This was my third visit to Amsterdam in 2 years and this hotel was the best by far. The location is central to most everything, although the walk to the museums is a bit farther. The location on the canal is beautiful and picturesque. |

The hotel is just in ancient city center, in the heart of the 9 streets design district. The room was charming, with big windows canal-view. Free internet surfing and a huge list of famous writers and artists who spent time in this hotel complete the very positive overview. |

I left a written copy of my evaluation at the desk. In it I stated that I do a great deal of international travel and the Ambassade is my long-term (more than 30 years) favourite. |

Location was excellent, stuff was freidly and ready to help, WiFi was really free, services (breakfast, spa, rent) seems to be good but we have not used them. 1. Staying in Junior suite number 20 please take into account that WiFi connection is unstable so there can be no internet just in time you will need it most of all. 2. The same number 20 has quite low ceiling so people with more than 190cm height might feel discomfort. 3. For this type of accomodation (suites) and price there should be some tea/coffee facilities. |

pleasant and very helpful staff....beautiful art collection representing a very important movement within holland...which influenced the world. very elegant surroundings without the trappings of pomposity and elitism.....the configuration of the collective houses was a bit overwhelming at first and then lent an air of intrigue as time pasted..... |

First impression- We arrived at about the time that their breakfast buffet was closing. The manager called up and arranged for us to eat. They were very accommodating and helpful in all areas. The dining room and the living room were beautifully decorated and overlooking the canal. |

The room was small and beautifully appointed. The staff was courteous and very helpful in terms of suggestions for restaurants, tickets to museums, etc. Breakfast was delicious and served by waiters who were open and friendly. There was also free internet and a library for guests to use. All in all a wonderful three night stay. |

Great location and ambiance. Very quiet, beautiful, nicely furnished room with a view of the canal. Hotel was overbooked first night, which was unfortunate because I was arriving from 9 time zones away and quite jet lagged. However, Ambassade put me up at a wonderful 5 star hotel for the night and gave me complimentary breakfast for the days I did stay at the Ambassade. So,all in all, I was very pleased. |
