das hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig, teppichboden im zimmer war schmutzig, die bettwäsche müsste erneuert werden, das bad müsste dringend renoviert werden |

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, mitten im Zentrum von Harlem. Alles ist zu Fuss leicht erreichbar. Freundliche Atmosphäre und nette Angestellte. Die Dusche hatte nur einen schwachen Wasserstrahl. Das ist das Einzige was mich am Hotel Ambassador City Centre gestöhrt hat. |

Sehr zentrale Lage, Parkhaus in nächster Umgebung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Bei der Dusche kam sehr wenig Wasser. |

Sehr saubere und schöne Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Lage im Ortskern und angesichts all dessen auch ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Haarlem ist eine sehr schöne Stadt, und sowohl Amsterdam als auch das Meer sind schnell und problemlos zu erreichen. Das Parken ist teuer. Es ist verständlich, dass bei wenig Platzangebot die Preise recht hoch sind, und die zwei zur Verfügung stehenden Parkhäuser sind vom Hotel aus - auch mit Gepäck - gut erreichbar, dennoch wäre ein ermäßigtes Parken für Hotelgäste durchaus angebracht. |

The location is wonderful with a beautiful view of the cathedral. Everything we wanted to see was within easy walking distance. The room was not fancy, but perfectly nice. The front desk staff was very helpful. |

Close to anemities, pleasant reception and quant entrance of antique furniture. Staff were very helpful and reasonably priced. Close to Haarlem Central NS Station, but need to walk, not too far. The hotel is close to several pubs and it was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night requiring police to intervene on several occasions. Felt that Euro 13.50 for breakfast was expensive, but then all restaurants were expensive. Would be better to include breakfast in hotel price as there is no alternative anywhere else to have breakfast. However we need to appreciate the bad currency exchange rate at present. Should supply a water kettle and tea, coffee and condiments with crockery like done in other hotels, so guests can have a drink without having to pay 2 to 3 Euro each for a cup of tea or coffee in another restaurant. |

The rooms we had was really big and nicely set up and overall, the hotel is very quiet, inspite of being located in the right center of Haarlem. The decoration in the breakfast room is a bit overdone ;-) |

Location is good. Breakfast was efficient and satisfactory but a little expensive.We amended our booking over the phone and it was handled very efficiently. There was one minor fault with the bathroom in the room. It was reported on day 1 and was not addressed by day 5. On our previous stay a fault with the heating was addressed within the hour. |

I always stay at the Ambassador City Centre Hotel or at Yoops during my visits to Holland due to it's perfect location and the best ratio of service and price. |

Location is perfect. Staff in evening and night incompetent, did not know where to find anything, not helpful at all! Staffmember in breakfast area loud and rude. No after hours options for beverage or snack nor hot nor cold. |

Excellent location in the city centre, just behind the Grote Markt, friendly staff, big room with private toilet, sorrounded by many restaurants and pubs as well as coffeshops and any kind of shops. Great. Little bit noisy in the evening but it's because the location it's in the real city centre and the neighborhoods are full of crowded pubs and discos, anyway not so bad for us. |

I liked the quiet back-side of the hotel, the location right in the centre of Haarlem and the friendly staff. In the room I missed a full length mirror. There would be plenty of space for it near the door. |

Ambassador City Centre Hotel is well located on the main square. Room was spacious (by European standards) for the price and had all the basics. The staff was helpful. The room we had was located on the square which gave it a nice view, but there was a lot of noise at times. |

The room was very clean, and the staff very friendly. The brasserie and the restaurant are an asset due to roadworks, very difficult to reach. Very small room, difficult to go into the bathroom without head injury. Bathroom alo too small |

The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. We stayed in Haarlem rather than driving into Amsterdam and took the train in. (about a 20 minute ride from the Central Station Haarlem to the Central Station, Amsterdam. Our room was very dark with only 3 small lamps. Parking is a problem as there is nothing reasonable close by. ( E 1.5 per half hour) We had to take the train to the Central Haarlem station to park for free then back to the hotel. Took about 45 min. round trip. |

This is a comfortable hotel in the centre of Haarlem, only a 10-minute walk from the station. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a hearty buffet breakfast, served in a room which has comedy Hollywood-style ancient Egyptian decor made of plastic. In a good hotel in Holland you might expect decent breakfast coffee. Alas, all you get is a Nescafe machine serving muck. Breakfast is also accompanied by an unendurable tape of a shouty, brain-dead American chanteuse; fortunately it is possible to ask for it to be switched off. |
