Charmerende. Meget opmærksomt og hjælpsomt personale. God beliggenhed. Køkkenstandarden ganske høj, med en enkelt svipser på spisekortet. Værelserne er forholdsvis få, hvilket betød at sengen i det anviste dobbeltværelse var for smal til at gælde for en dobbeltseng. |

It has a great location, a very nice bar , helpful reception staff and concierge , and good size rooms . Bed wasn't great , breakfast was uninspring and the service was very poor . The room cleaning was poor eg we were two and only one set of towels was supplied. Tea bags were not replaced when used . generally lack of attention to detail |

The location, the beautiful dining room and design of the hotel, the bar and bar staff who were very friendly The staff on our check in/check out could have been more pleasant, the staff on the front desk were very pleasant otherwise especially the concierge. |

Excellent location in the centre of all activities, bars and restaurants. Most of the staff were very pleasant. However, the bar staff were not very attentive and only seemed to be interested in their American guests |

A regular guest. Excellent location, road/canal transport nearby giving easy access to places of interest. Comfort throughout the hotel supported by friendly staff. A menu to be enjoyed in a most beautiful art deco restaurant, We are looking forward to our next visit. |

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They held our bags before check in and for the entire day after we'd checked out. The bar in the hotel is very cool and the restaurant looked beautiful although we didn't eat there during our stay. The location is fantastic - I'd highly recommend it! The hotel rooms are rather basic and slightly dated, but the value for money and location more than make up for that. It was ideal for our large group's weekend away! |

The Eden Amsterdam American Hotel is in a great location for anyone wanting to explore Amsterdam's cultural offering. The hotel also has all the ameneties that a business traveller would expect. In general the hotel represents a good value in what can otherwise be a very expensive city for hotel stays. |

Good location. Easy check in and late check out on Sunday. Very good buffet breakfast in the beautiful Cafe American. Came back to the hotel on Saturday evening about 10pm and was told by one of the staff in Bar American that we could not come in as there were no tables available. There were plenty of chairs for us but he would not let us stay and have a drink. |

Prime location, comfortable large bed, romantic view, beautifull building, good sevice, good buffet breakfast and some extras: a concierge cervice+ bus No 197 that stops right in front of the hotel door and takes you right to Schiphol airport for just 3,5 E Bit too expencive, elevator to our floor was out of order,so we had to carry our bags ourselfs to/from the 3rd floor, from this price/categ hotel I would expect a bellboy to take my bags to the room, especially in such a case when the elevator doesn't work |

A handy location combined with intriguing decor. A pleasant bar and an impressively decorated restaurant. Floorboards a little creaky but this reflects history. Lack of service at dinner caused me to take my custom elsewhere.... |

The room was a good size and very comfortable. The room itself could have been a little smaller and the bathroom slightly bigger but this is an observation not a criticism. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I think the lobby area of the hotel is a bit austere and not very inviting and I think the hotel generally could do with being updated but this would not prevent me staying at the hotel again. It's just a comment. We ate in the downstairs bar. The food was good but mine was a bit cold and I would have been justified in sending it back but I decided not to. My wife's meal was hot and tasty. Apparently the Orangina cocktail is excellent. |

Third time in a couple of months time that I stayed here: excellent location, quiet, large rooms, good service, etc. Compared to the 2 previous times this room (140) was the least interesting/beautiful: it was smaller, bed was very close to door (not practical), etc. |

Staff were very understanding about early check in. Porter was very helpful and staff in general were very friendly. The location is great. Breakfast is overpriced as is internet access. Rooms are a little dated. The reception area needs a completed refurb - it is not what you expect from such a grand building and if entering from the side door you would think you were in a 3 star hotel. |
