The location of the hotel is excellent for a city break with shopping, bars, culture and transport all being very handy to the hotel. The staff were all most helpful and generally unobtrusive in carrying out their duties. |

Friendly service, great location, nice large room with a view, good-looking restaurant and spa facilities. Tried to sit outside and have a drink but left after waiting 10 minutes for service--it wasn't crowded either.... |

There seemed to be a break down in communication between your company and the hotel, we required 2 rooms with 2 single beds but got double beds. Hotel said they never received this information. This is the second time this has happend using Booking.com and the American Hotel |

Very comfortable beds and good central location in the city. A lot of insects in the bathroom. |

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The location is great. The room was excellent, a large room with view to the canal. The staff were very friendly. Bus 197 from Schiphol gets you almost on the hotel's doorstep. We'll be happy to stay there again. |

The hotel was very conveniently located for the various items on my itinerary in Amsterdam The room was rather narrow and the trams outside were noisy when the window was open (no issue when the windows were closed). |

The hotel was extremely well located. Next to the canal with boat services, on the main square with plenty of bars with music and restaurants. Not far to walk down to the shopping street either. Most of the sightseeing was close by also. The bar staff were great! It was disappointing that they didn't have a residence bar but as we were close to the bars it wasn't a big issue. I also thought the breakfast was a overpriced. |

Great old hotel on a busy square. Short walk to the museums. Hop on the canal boats right outside the hotel door. Huge room, comfy bed, great shower. Ask for a quiet room, instead of a room with a view and get a larger room. Couldn't ask for anything better with the Booking.com price. |

convenient location. Concierge most helpful. Continental breakfast at E19.95 is far too expensive. Room initially allocated was totally unacceptable. No view unless you call a view of another internal wall a view! Managed to obtain a canal view room but only after agreeing to pay an extra E50 per night. |

The staff were very friendly, particularly in the cafe. The reception staff were very professional and spoke excellent english. The standard room was clean and tidy, with a decent sized bathroom. It was quiet at night and felt very safe. All the hotel public areas were smart and clean. Check out time of midday was very convenient. The location is very central for nightlife and sightseeing. |

I was very impressed with the hospitality at the hotel. They were so efficient and could not do enough for us. Secondly the location of the hotel is ideal and is within walking distance to shops, restaurant and nightlife. We will definitely return to that hotel for our next trip to Amsterdam. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Amsterdam. It is only 15 mins away from the airport & the canal trip pitstop is outside the main entrance. Thank-you |

The hotel has a wonderful 1930s restaurant which acts as the heart of the hotel at any time of the day. The cafè is also very welcoming. The location is unbeatable, just a stonethrow away from all sites and shopping area. The reception was dissapointing. Unlike the rest of the hotel that is in art-deco style, the reception is modern and non-descript and really doesn't reflect what the hotel is all about. |

The location is excellent, the café is a trip to the 60s (the best expresso anywhere included) and the bar is always alive. The gym is not only poor but during our stay, the threadmill was out of order so we could not excercise. |

Hotel Estheréa is ideally located on one of the most beautiful and quiet canals in the centre of he city, only 300 metres from the Dam Square and the Royal Palace. |
The hotel is situated in the historical heart of the city. Within walking distance you willl find many shopping streets and department stores. |
Located in one of Amsterdam’s most remarkable historical buildings, right across from Central Station, this stylish hotel offers contemporary accommodation with free access to its indoor pool. |
The atmosphere of a residential area, and still only three minutes from the heart of Amsterdam: the lively Leidseplein. That is the charm of this cosy hotel. |
