Amsterdam American Hotel - Hampshire Eden    

The location is absolutely perfect. We can reach a lot of beautiful and interesting points of Amsterdam from the hotel. It is the second time I book for this hotel and if I have the oportunity, I would definitely come back!

I asked for a room with a view of the canal and this was done and a great view. food in the restaurant was excellent

It was very noisy in my room because they let me stay in the first floor (enter sol ) on a very loud side, I didn't sleep much so I didn't like my stay in the hotel this time

Terrible room, worn dated, looking onto a wall 3ft from the window. Got changed last night of stay to much better room. They need to refurbish n brighten the place up.

Location is the strongest side of the hotel-easy to get by tram from Central Station, close to museum area, close to park,next to canal transport stop. The brekfest is served in bautiful art-deco American caffe.

Brekfest not included in the price of the room-but you will see it's worth it's price( great place) Dificulties to book bike but we were recomended place close to the hotel

There was scaffolding outside our window, and the room was not like the pictures on the Internet, and for the room rate I would have expected more.

Your cook in the breakfast kitchen is great: he cooks eggs to perfection! Give him a raise! All the personnel were very kind and polite. Efficient.

Temperature in the room a bit hard to manage. A bit noisy at times.

I dont feel that it was value for money for the price I paid for two nights I would expect breakfast included the city tax should be included in the price and not at the end of the stay as a add on a lot of people would not expect to pay anything else for their stay including me.

Very difficult to use bathtub due to height. Not "senior friendly" design (ingress/egress/handicap) etc Breakfast was extremely expensive

Location good.

Dark rooms with wall-to-wall carpets, no heating on when checking in. Wifi only for 1 login/room, cannot use it on multiple phones/pads etc. Breakfast expensive. Be aware of additional city tax that will be added to your bill when checking out.

The Art Deco restaurant/cafe/bar was exceptionally pleasant to sit and relax in. From the river boat it looks very impressive. The staff are very good.

Property under renovation. Was woken up by a tradesman installing new brick on the exterior. Tried to change rooms when saw scaffolding but staff was not helpful. When we checked out early they tried to charge us for the entire stay!

The location is in walking distance to the most wonderful museums and a lovely neighborhood.

This is a landmark hotel that promised history and great views. We had scaffolding out our window, which will be taken down at some point. The hotel was not busy - why where we not put in a room without the scaffolding outside? We were only there a night

Hotel in renovation and no mention of this when making reservation. Staff not taking on board complaints but refering to the manager .... who happens to be absent. The place was dusty, and smelling dust. Very dissapointted.
