I had not the standard room. A pitty was that no evening dinner was served and we had to gou out. no dinner served in hotel |

We enjoyed seeing old friends and strolling into Alkmaar for dinner. The hotel location is perfect. It is a short distance to walk into town and also to walk to the station. There are also parking facilities for the car which are very reasonable at 15 euros per stay. The only reason we found it not so good value was because the pound is so weak at the moment!! |

The hotel is located near the downtown, therefore very close to the shops, the historical center and other important facilities. The neighborhoud is calm and safe. |

Quite convenient to the old town, but not actually in it and therefore not subject to the noise of pop concerts, market etc. Well, I thought it rather spartan for four-star. I also thought it was quite expensive, and was annoyed that breakfast was not included in the price. |

The size of the room. the location. The quality of the ensuite bathroom and extras There were two receptionists. The one that booked me in was very short, to the point of being impolite. She did not say "welcome" or use freindly conversation at all. She immediately asked me to pay up in full in advance. |

big rooms, quite if you ask for the backside, save parking Coffee at breakfast is not to recomend as it stands there is a selfservice pot for hours....better drink tea in this case |

ontbijt, personeel, ligging vlakbij uitgaanscentrum koffie in bar niet warm ( lauw ), s'morgens voor vertrek zijn ze al de minibar aan het vullen en staan de karren al klaar voorde schoonmaak. |

Prettig en rustig (november!) hotel, mooi gelegen aan een singel midden in Alkmaar, met OV goed te bereiken (10' vanaf station). Het ontbijt kan qua kwaliteit van de producten beter, helemaal voor die prijs. |
