Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar  

- specious rooms - good location 5 min.walk from city center - a little bit stinky corridors but rooms were clean

- missed some more services for 4 star hotel - missing toilet brush :-), nobody recognized during our trip

Location close to market square, clean, quiet. Junior suite was very spacious.

Expensive breakfast (walked to town each morning for much more reasonably priced breakfast). Expensive parking (used a parkade only 5 minutes walk which was much cheaper).

We thought it had an excellent location just on the edge of the Old Town. Excellent parking facilities.

Eventhough it is almost in the city center there is a parking lot underneath the hotel for wich you pay € 15,00 for the duration of your stay. It's clean, staff is friendly, nice breakfast

There was this one guy at the reception who was quite clueless about how the checkout procedure worked, and there was no one else around when I left. Reception should not be left to untrained/incompetent people.

Comfortable room with all facilities; lovely bath. Perfectly OK business-oriented hotel - everything functioned very well.

A bit soulless and impersonal.

1.Hotel is just perfectly situated in the centre of Alkmaar. 2.There is very nice bath, big enough for 2 persons. 3. Clean and silent.

1. Warming does not worked correctly 2. Most rooms have a two single beds, they cannot be lock together so this can be very uncomfortable... 3. Breakfasts are not worth the price they ask for it.

Good location, near to Train Station, comfortable beds and welcoming staff.

Not a four star, rooms require decorated, limited toiletries and breakfast very expensive - not great value or choice.

good location,great helpful staff.

I liked everything. The location was ideal as we travelled in by train and it was only a short walk from the station. The staff were wonderful, the rooms a very good size and we had ones which overlooked the canal which was beautiful. The buffet breakfast was great - enough of everything. Alkmaar is a quaint Dutch town and a pleasure to visit.

The street out front along the canal was a little noisy.

We've stayed at Amrath Allmaar for quite some times. Friendly personnel, spacious rooms, WiFi free of charge, excellent breakfast and parking on the premises are reasons we keep returning
