This charming hotel is perfectly situated: in the middle of the city centre, opposite the bustling Leidseplein. With its own parking garage and tram stop in front (tram number 1, 2 or 5 from Central Station) the hotel is perfectly accessible. Also the Connexxxion Shuttle bus stops at the hotel.

Situated in a historical building the hotel offers a diversity of modern rooms from cosy one- or 2 person’s rooms to more luxury superior rooms with bath and air-conditioning.
With several facilities like free Wi-Fi in the lobby and a cosy patio where you can have breakfast on sunny days, this typical Amsterdam hotel is the perfect location for the business guest as well as the leisure guest.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Hotel information

In our charming lobby free WIFI is available. You can also use our free internet computers, as well as our 24 hours drink and snack service. In the breakfast restaurant you can enjoy the breakfast buffet, and during summer months we are delighted to serve your breakfast at our patio.

Our receptionists will be happy to assist you in reserving tickets to all kinds of attractions such as the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, canal cruises and restaurant reservations.
A complimentary city map is available at the reception.

The hotel is very good accessible by car as well as public transport. The Central Station can be reached by several tram lines (1,2,5). The RAI Exhibition centre is reachable in 25 minutes and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in 35 minutes. At set times you can make use of the Connexxion Hotel Shuttle Bus which stops at the entrance of the hotel, can it be easier?

The Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel has its own parking garage. Reservation in advance is recommended.

The hotel is situated in a typical Amsterdam’s building which has to be reached via a staircase and is not accessible by wheelchairs.

As of the Dutch law the whole hotel is non-smoking. We kindly ask you to take this into account. If found smoking on the hotel premises, you will be fined 75 Euro. There is a possibility to smoke on our patio.

You can use complimentary high speed internet in the lobby.

Food & beverage

The loungebar is a perfect place to relax at the fireplace after a busy day. Here you can enjoy drink or a pizza. You can also order a pizza and take it to your room at a later stage. The bar is opened daily untill 01:00.

Do you prefer a healthy start of a new day? Make use of our variety of warm and cold dishes at our breakfast buffet in the breakfast restaurant. During the summer months you can enjoy your breakfast at the patio! Our breakfast staff welcomes you daily between 07:00 untill 10:00.
The breakfast restaurant is not accessible for wheelchairs.

For dinner reservations you can always contact the reception. In Café Americain, situated opposite the hotel, you can have your bill charged to your room in the hotel!. Please ask the reception for more information.

In the neighbourhood you will find many cosy restaurants, terraces and cafe’s. Here you can enjoy a simple meal or a chique dinner. Our reception staff will help you with finding the perfect restaurant.

The diversity of room types in this centrally located hotel is unique: intimate single rooms and cosy double rooms.

All 70 rooms have a variety of modern facilities, such as high speed internet connection and a flat-screen TV with movie-on-demand system. The comfortable beds and small but comfortable bathrooms will make your stay unforgettable.

Area information

The Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel is located in the historic centre of Amsterdam right next to the dazzling Leidseplein with its many bars, restaurants, terraces, theatres and the Casino. From Leidseplein you can also make a canal tour or rent a bike. The world-famous Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt) and Van Gogh Museum are within a few minutes walkingdistance as well as the major shopping areas such as the PC Hooftstraat and the Leidsestraat. Anne Frank House is situated at appr. 15 min. from the hotel. Tram 1,2 and 5 stop opposite to the hotel.

While some drugs are legalized in The Netherlands, drugs are not permitted anywhere on the Hotel’s premises. If this rule is violated, we will charge an extra EUR 150 to your account.

The staff were very unhelpful, we were family all book on different
floors different parts of the hotel. Website said book for extra child
on arrival this isn't the case had to pay for extra room, not
impressed at all

On the small side but nice. Nice bathroom & shower. Friendly and helpfull staff. Close enough to shops and markets. We had trouble getting maintenance to fix our leaky A/C, but then we had one of only 7 rooms with A/C.

breakfast was 15 Euros extra....should have been included in the price

The service was wonderful; your staff is friendly and terrific if any problems occur.

The front stairs are a deterrent. We had no one to help us bring in our luggage. My husband had a fractured rib, so it was a big problem.

Internet, peace and quiet in the hotel, nice location

The stairs up to the main entrance were not easily climbed with a heavy suitcase. I didn't like the heavily perfumed soap in the bathroom, since I'm allergic to perfume.

It had a really, really good location. Fairly in the center of everything and the tram stop to get places was close by.
