Park Plaza Vondelpark Amsterdam  

I did not like the room backing on to the public toilets, as you could hear the water in the pipes. The heating was a plug in oil heater.

Very nice large rooms. Excellent bathroom. Comfortable bed. Good room facilities.

For double occupancy they should have two bathrobes and two pairs of slippers.

Welcoming staff. Overall nice design. The hotel is located close to the lovely Vondelpark and very close to a tram stop. The staff was professional. We recommand the hotel bike rental.

The Staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable and always ready to help out. The hotel Lobby is very trendy as is the breakfast room and bar.

The room I was allocated did not match the pictures in the slightest... My room was very narrow and dark... and the bed was very very low.

Noisy room (street noise, inside noise - mostly the sound of door of every room). Inability to switch off all the lights without switching off the electricity sockets. Glass shower and toilet walls which were quite see-through. Really soft and uncomfortable beds, fridge not working at all, no racks for the towels nor jackets, no shelves for bathroom stuff inside the shower, leaking shower outside of the glass walls, washbasin inside the room instead of the bathroom, not a good value for the money at all

It was a very chic hotel with friendly staff and great connection to the center via the tram/taxi.

The rate was indicated to be inclusive of breakfast on booking.com but on check out we were asked to pay.

Liked location - outside centre but within easy reach - close to park, not a place to stay at unless you are very comfortable with the person with whom you are sharing with (open plan bathroom/wc)

Bathroom needs work - seals need new silicone and carpet very stained - clean but looks a bit worn/dated

Situated right next to an entrance to the Vondelpark which can be cycled around with bikes hired from reception. Tram stop is walking distance away taking you through the main squares and lastly stopping at central station. The interior design of the hotel is really nice too and location is ideal for whoever wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The ramp leading from the sidewalk to the reception is not wide enough for the luggage to get up easily so ended up carrying up instead.

Rooms and hotel very modern. Good neighbourhood close to city center. Friendly staff. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The rooms are very above the standard quality in Amsterdam. Good value for your money. It's a bit far from the city center - walking will take at least 45 min. The tram passes right on the door of the hotel and will take you to city center in 15min. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Room not cleaned regularly and properly, things not replaced, damp smell in the room on one occasion when we got back to the room. Various other things all reported via their on-line critic form
