I liked its cleanliness, its location and its affordability. The pillows were rock hard. The room was right next to the reception desk and loud people at night were not asked to be quiet. I couldn't sleep. I also asked for soya milk but none was provided.

The staff were helpful and friendly. It was well situated for catching the tram to and from the city. There were lots of good restaurants in the area a short distance away. the mattress was tooooo soft. Had to sleep on the floor because of my sore back.

Breakfast... Staff was nice and helpful.. Did not like the fact that it was not worth the amount of money that I was asked for. the Rooms were small and hard to get around in. You did not have real walking room. the bed for two was very small. They did not change out the sheets until you left. It was hard to shower, the presurewas very bad, and the hot water was not good as well. I was scared to walk on the carpet with out shoes. It looked very dirty. Like I said. For what I had to paid it was not worth my stay. Ok, two good things. the breakfast was good. You got the same thing every day, and it was somewhat near the Bus and trams to get from here and there.

The hotel room was miniscule and very dirty. For the same price we managed to get the Beethoven Hotel in the nearby area. For the upmarket area the hotel was surprisingly basic. The sheets on the bed didn't match and the pillow cases didn't match or fit. A 1* hotel but the price got us a 3* nearby so not value for money.

Helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. The TV in the room did not work. We mentioned this to the staff the first day but I do not know if anyone checked into it during our 2day/2night stay.

We liked the soft beds and quilts and nice size room Could do with some update and decoration and less clutter of lamps and mirrors. Would have been nice to be able to have hot drink in the room. Breakfest room was small, food run out.

Breakfast Internet connection was really bad, It was impossible to use it at all (and before my stay I asked several times if internet was working fine because I had to do some work and they told me there was no problem). They turned off the heating during the day! And amsterdam is very cold in winter so when I returned from the day trip the room was freezing. I told them once to stop turning the heating off but they kept doing it.. I don't get it.. Hotel staff was very unkind. This hotel should cost half the price they charge.

It was great to have easy internet access with no trouble or interuption. My room was very clean and well organized. Breakfast was included. The price was extremely reasonable, all things considered. The neighborhood was a very nice neighborhood, but I was hoping for an area with more to offer in terms of places to eat, shop, etc.

Quiet location. Convenient to museum attractions and close to transit. Breakfast was a convenient bonus with the basic items offered. Lovely to listen to church bells during the day. Many of the doors to individual rooms will only close if pulled forcefully, causing a loud bang. Hearing the hourly chimes during the night. Arrived just after a flood so entrance was in shambles, however by departure, the entrance was cleared. Housekeeping did not make the bed, nor change or re-arrange the towels, however it was evident that someone had looked in because the the towel warmer was shut off and wet towels removed from floor.

Not a great deal. It's too expensive and needs over-hauling. Decor very dated, room wasn't made-up tidily, the staff there don't seem to care, bar only had 1 type of bottled beer and the guy on reception seemed to find it very hard work to do his job and go over to the bar to serve occasionally. Everything smells musty there too. Nice area, pretty rubbish hotel

Kinda expensive for a basic hotel. The bed were very unconfortable - meaning sore neck and back in the morning, not great when you plan on walking all day - breakfast is basic/average too. Every single hotel was booked when de looked so I guess it was not the worst option. Would prolly not stay again at this hotel bc of the price
