Terrible access, even for an Amsterdam building. Extremely noisy, but free ear plugs! Toilet faucet had no handle, but "Owner did not want to put one"! Toilet is smaller than tiny and embarrassingly, no proper vent. Bathroom had steep pitched low marble ceiling - bad combination. Stairway to bed area had dangerously narrow tread of stained wood, perfect to slip and break a bone. Beds under pitched beams in attic, so have to be extremely careful at night not to knock your head against a sloping beam. Very claustrophobic. Overall, not only poor value for the money but really dangerous. Place would never pass any real safety inspection. Avoid the place.

Poor service. Very expensive for what was received. One fourth the price would have been high for the quality of the unit.

The person who welcomed us was very kind and helpful.

The access to the room was more hiking then anything else. I never seen such a steep stairs. The apartment was big, the comfort was maybe ok, but nothing special and certainly not worth the price we had to pay.

I liked very much position and new furnitures.No noise.

No possibility to take out clothes from the luggage because there was only the possibility to hang them.Cleaning and change of bath not so good, we had to ask to remake the room.

Sensational location, the most spacious rooms I have stayed in that is so centrally located. Staff are extremely friendly and personable always ready to help.

Price could be better

The only thing we did not like was the noise coming from room above. The hotel has wooden floor, early in the morning you can hear crackling.

Great personal service. Mr. Moro in the reception showed us what hospitality is about and he really exceeded our expectations when welcoming us at the Hotel and showing us around. The modern designed rooms are something really extra and one really gets alot of value for money. The location of the Hotel right next to the Amstel and the Rembrandt square could not be better and we are looking forward visiting the Hotel again in the future.

The location is ideal for the zealous tourist, with the old inner city across the river to the north, the two main museums a pleasant walk to the south, and the opera house just round the corner. My room was comfortable and very quiet. They don't do breakfast but you can make tea or coffee in your room and there is a café on the canal behind the hotel which opens early.

We had a great stay at Amstelzicht. The hotel was in the middle of a refurb which we were warned about and did not affect our stay. All the rooms have been refurbed to a very high standard and the beds are very comfortable. All in all a very nice hotel!
