Novotel Amsterdam offers a free shuttle service to and from Schiphol Airport. It features spacious accommodations with free Wi-Fi and spa area including a sauna and a large indoor pool area. A small sitting corner, coffee and tea facilities and satellite TV are standard for each room. The private bathroom comes with free soap and shampoo products. For relaxing, the hotel offers a jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Guests can also opt for a game of pool or darts in the bar area. The restaurant and bar offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service is available 24-hour a day. Schiphol Airport is 3 miles from Novotel Amsterdam Airport. Free access to Internet via Wifi, Acces to town very easy. Payment to parking of the hotel. OK to pay but not that much. Most hotels have their parkings free of charge.

The location is the main reason I choose this hotel. It's extremely easy to access from the dual carriageway. Also, I am normally on an early flight back to the uk thereofre being close to Schiphol is paramount, which it is. The restaurant menu requires changing. I've stayed at the Novotel a number of times over the last year and the menu hasn't changed once in this time. Time for a change guys. The hotel is advertised as having a fitness centre. It doesn'T. You have to go outside to the independent Health Centre behind the hotel. Granted, not a long walk however when you think there is a fitness centre you assume it is on the premises and you certainly don't expect to pay euro10 to use it. Very pricey!

Location Hotel is getting old and needs updating. Staff at front desk were not very friendly and not very efficient. No place in front of hotel to pick- up or drop off people. Was yelled at by a bus driver because front of hotel is a bus stop!

The early moring shuttle was crowded because it is shared with the Ibis.

Hotel is generally good, close to Schipol and free bus from Schipol is a good service. Staff reaction to request are very poor, I requested to change a bulb, but didnt happen for three days.

We chose the hotel primarily for its proximity to the airport, as we had a morning flight to catch. We were impressed by the free shuttle service to the airport which was a big help. Also, we were impressed by the restaurant. Good food and a choice of options. It was one of the most comfortable of the hotels we stayed in during this trip. There was a little early morning noise from the airport, but by that time we had to get up anyway.

Location and free airport shuttle, for which I chose it for- was only 1 night stay prior a trip. Airport shuttle runs under certain schedule (availabe at the reception desk), trip is approx. 20 minutes. I also expected the non-surprise Novotel standard, and the short stay met this expectation, as well, in the terms of space, comfort, cleanness, facilities. The food at the underground bar was fine, didn't have breakfast. I was not asked for invoice details or for issuing an invoice upon check in&out. I hope we can solve this via e-mails, as it is also my mistake not asking them to prepare it prior check out, and not mentioning invoice details upon booking under non-refundable condition. / Would be good to mention the shuttle schedule in the hotel description.

the free shuttle was very useful, overall nice place to stay. safe, secure. i wasnt made aware during my booking that i would have to get 100 euros held on my credit card at check in. that was my extra holiday money if i needed it. and towards the end i did need it, but it wasnt available. so if i knew about this i would have taken more money. i know that i will get the reserved money back, but know am back from my holiday.

Indoor Pool area pleasant. Airport transfer regular. Free wifi. Clean room. There is a charge to book in 2.00hrs early and book-in time only 3.00pm. There is also a charge to use the gym which is next door.
