Amsterdam Canal Guest Apartment

The apartment is very nice and clean perfect for a couple. It is in a good location that everything is in walking distance. The host was not available to meet us on arrival but arranged for his friend to greet us and left lots of information on the area and kept in touch with us to make sure there were no issues.

Nothing, everything was great. Only thing is if you have walking difficulties it may be hard to get in and out of the apartment as the steps in are very steep.

Location is good. Owner is kind. Furnitures are clean. Less traffic at night. A bottle of wine was waiting us.

The host were very nice, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. He shared a lot information not only surroundings but also useful tourist information. The apartment is not big as we expected from photos but a very sweet and cozy home.

It's a really a great place to stay at in Amsterdam. All that is said about the apartment and Guido the landlord is true. We had a fantastic time here, the center is really just 10-15 mins of walk, the place is silent and has a nice view on the Amstel river. The Canal Cruise has it's stop just on the opposite side, so you can take two lines just by stepping out. I can recommend this place for everyone

The host was very thoughtful and gave us more than we needed. He even offered us a bottle of wine as a welcome treat. The apartment is small but has all that's necessary for a pleasant and peaceful stay, right in the centre of Amsterdam, near every main attractions. We felt like home.

The water had a funny and unpleasant smell.

Everything was great, Guido was very friendly,gave good recommendations for eating out, perfect location 5 minutes walk for all tourist attractions, clean and high standards of fittings.Will definitely go back :)

Absolutely perfect! Do yourself a favour and stay with Guido. He was on holiday when we arrived but organised for his friend to meet, greet and show us the apartment. The location is great - close enough to the station and major attractions of Amsterdam yet in a secluded quiet street facing straight onto the Amstel canal. Communication with Guido was perfect. He also provided us with a discount card for the local supermarket. Fantastic! Thank you!!!!!!

This is a great little studio in a really good location. We only stayed for one night, but wish it could have been longer. Guido was so nice, I had a welcome email within hours of booking and he kept contact with me until our stay, and even sent a very nice thank you email after. It is the greatest experience I have had with a hotel owner. The room was immaculate. The apartment was very easy to find using Guido’s directions. He also had a lot of information ready for us to explore the local area. I’ve visited Amsterdam around 9 times, and this was by far my best experience.

The host is the most helpful of all the hosts we had on our 3 week trip to europe. The location was great for historical and shopping sites of Amsterdam. We will stay at the apartment on our next trip to Amsterdam.

The apartment has an excellent location with an amazing view over the Amstel River. Also, it couldn’t be better served regarding restaurants, markets, cosy stores and public transports. Everything we need to feel at home. In addition, the price is really competitive and the owner is a gentleman. We certainly recommend the Amsterdam Canal Guest Apartment.

The location and amenities of this apartment are absolutely perfect for enjoying the Amsterdam culture. The kitchenette allowed for in-room meals, which was very important for us after a long cruise-ship voyage. Guido is a fantastic host. Not only did he fully explain the details of the flat, he also showed us around the local neighborhood to make us feel very welcome and at home. The complimentary bottle of wine was very much appreciated, too. Guido is a native of Amsterdam and the combination of his local knowledge, plus the comfort of his flat, make this a 5-star combination that is hard to find anywhere.

Great place, extremely well located, extra clean, great host, every thing accessible by foot or bike. Good restaurants located within 5 minutes. Would recommend to anyone.

отличные апартаменты в центре амстердама недалеко от ж/д вокзала, рукой подать до всех достопримечательностей, рядом множество кафешек, ресторанчиков и магазинов. чисто, тепло и уютно, есть все необходимое для самостоятельных туристов. удивительно домашняя атмосфера, делающая прибывание в амстердаме еще более приятным)) спасибо гуидо за гостеприимство, огромное количество полезной информации о городе и хорошее настроение!

Very helpful host, excellent location

местоположение апартаментов очень удобно: рядом метро, наземный транспорт, в шаговой доступности множество ресторанов, достопримечательностей, музеев, магазинов. район тихий и спокойный. в апартаментах очень чисто, по-домашнему уютно, все в наличии для комфортного проживания - начиная шампуня и фена в ванной, столовых приборов, утюга и другой полезной техники и заканчивая интернетом (с нормальной скоростью и без перебоев). гвидо - хозяин апартаментов - очень доброжелательный, гостеприимный, отзывчивый человек, всегда поможет и откликнется на ваши просьбы. очень приятно внимание с его стороны при бронировании, далее во время проживания и после отъезда. он подскажет куда сходить, что посмотреть и много другой полезной туристу информации, плюс множество карт, путеводителей уже имеется в апартаментах гвидо.
