it was very cold and central heating was bad. over night we had about 15 degrees. when you want see you partner if he use toalet, you can stay here. between the room and bathroom is the wall from glass. pokud si přejte sledovat svého partnera, když vykonává potřebu, ubytujte se zde. mezi pokojem a koupelnou je skleněná stěna, zaručuji vám pěkný výhled.

Very central location. Good rooms. Everything worked as planned.

I am not used to bathroom walls of glass. Difficult to get wanted privacy at toilet. Staff could smile a bit more.

Me and my wife stayed inWestCord City Centre Hotel Amsterdam between 26- 28 October. It is a decent hotel in a very strategic location, close to many tourist attractions. Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Dam Square, Red Light district, the flower market and Leidseplein, all the canals and bridges are max. 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. If you do not want to walk around, which I highly recommend, there is a bike rental just across the street. The price of the hotel is great! We paid 208 Euros + 10 Euros city tax (which is not mentioned in the hotel page by the way) for two nights. We did not have breakfast at the hotel Instead, we grabbed sandwiches and croissants and fruit juice from nearbybrasseries and markets and had them walking around the city centre. I would highly recommend it to those who seek a budget hotel just to sleep over the night and spend the rest of their time outside.

We stayed in deluxe twin rooms, which was kind of small room. They should have eliminated the desk in order to gain some place.

I wasn't very impressed with the glass bathroom, and would not have chosen the hotel based on that alone. I was staying with a friend, not a boyfriend and it was very uncomfortable. The room was tiny for 130 euro per night - I have paid the same in more expensive cities like Paris and got much better value. Also the cleaner came in at 9am without knocking first, and I only stayed one night! In my opinion it certainly was not a 'deluxe double room'

5-7 mins walk to Central Station, very near to shopping area and famous sight seeing site. Just walk out the hotel entrance, you will find tram stops within a few steps which with trams that brought you to most of the "must" visited places. Room a bit small with out fashioned design. Our room was directly in front of the "window" of the red district. Wifi service in room was poor quality.

The location is central, near to central station. The tea/coffee facility in the room. We got a room with three beds in stead of two.

Due to a cheaper roomrate, we got an old, shabby, unclean room. Not like the pictures on the site, it was a complete different room (at the end of the hall, first floor). The staff was really rude at the checkout, it felt like: "Thanks for staying, now get out". Although the location is not at the Rembrands Square, it sure sounded like it: our room was at the streetside, we couldn't sleep because of a cafe/discotheque across the street. It sounded like it was right under our window. The windows were not closing properly, so the noise was very loud. We finally fell asleep at about 3.00 in the morning. At 7.30 in the morning the cleaning lady started vacuuming the hallway and was loudly banging with the vacuumclaner against our door. Because of the noise on the street at night, and our unpleasant "wake up call" that morning, we didn't feel very energetic to go into the city the following day. I wouldn't recommend the hotel because of these experiences.

The two single beds joint together as a single queen size do not allow to stay in the middle, there is a hole in between and unconfortable if not only for sleeping...

Privacy. Professionalism and friendliness of staff. Location.

Well located and well deserved by transports (tramway, bike renting), modern and spacious room, free Wifi and Ethernet access in the room ! ha and the bed was comfy.

Breakfast is too expensive!!!

This hotel is in the best place of Amsterdam, near all important points

Central postition is a very positive aspect of the hotel.
